While I personally believe the sleeves are detached, I posit that it makes no difference if they are or aren't attached in the official art...

Regardless, detached sleeves are impractical, incredibly stupid, and so anime that it physically causes me pain, so it barely matters who's right, because Touhou and everything Touhou has ever done for this world is atrocious and shameful.

As for her hair, my main question is why her tails are so damn long but the rest of her hair is its usual length. Seems like a really weird decision to me.

Seems shorter (especially in the back) to me, which makes the tails look really large
I'm guessing if she had her UFO hair they'd look more or less normal

Coming back at this a bit late, but...

As the cemetery is obviously Stage 1 and I put Hunger first I'd guess a Hungry Ghost / Preta / Gaki would fit. These creatures were already mentioned in some of Youmu's Spell Cards in PCB, so they are not fully out of the world, right?

yeah, typically the final boss's domain is saved for the last two stages (SDM is the only Windows exception with the last three stages)
that said, though, we don't even know if the final boss's domain will be a graveyard :V
