>Iku decides to stand a safe distance away. "I'm not exactly paid for this, after all..." she muses.

>Nitori laughs. "Hina, that's not very nice!" She deactivates her optical camouflage. "Though I haven't seen those people before. Maybe they're shut-ins?"
>Hina shrugs. "I'm sure that if they don't go outside that much, nothing too bad will happen to them. Anyway, there's a bigger accumulation of bad luck inside the mansion."
>Chiri's table shatters, so she's forced to dodge whiled finding a new piece of furniture to hide behind. She sneezes, loses her concentration, and ends up running straight into a keystone.

>Hina - Well, let's go get that Bad Luck, whoever's being plagued by it must be suffering quite a lot.

>Hina dusts herself off. "Well Nitori, I have some bad luck to gather. Which person should I go after first, that grey-haired woman or the one inside the mansion?"

>Alice - Sigh. She never changes.
>Shinki - "Awww, come on Aaaaliiiice~"
>Yumeko - Perhaps we should intervene for once. That girl with the peach hat could destroy the entire mansion if we aren't careful.
>...Well, that's one way to resolve things. We should meddle with space to prevent anymore of those earthquakes, just to be on the safe side.

>Yumeko stares at Sakuya's intimidation tactics. "Well," she mutters. "she's certainly efficient."
>Alice sighs. "Oh fine, mom. I'll let you stay over. I gotta warn you, though, my house isn't really prepared for any guests."
>Shinki cheers. "Yaaaay!"

>Yukari - "Oh my, it seems we have more guests~! And ah, look who it is! The Buddhists~!"

>Reimu - Sigh. What a pain...
>Satori - "For being a supposedly peace-loving group, they certainly don't hesitate to join in the danmaku."

>Unzan punches through a wall, and the Buddhists appear on the scene. Sakuya groans. "Right after I prevent one person from tearing down the mansion, another one appears..."
>Inside the safe zone, Komachi appears, carrying an unconscious Shikieiki. "Some party isn't it?" she laughs.
>Satori sighs. "If all your aboveground parties end up like this, I prefer to stay down in the underground. At least with oni you know how your house is going to break."
>Yuyuko smiles. "You know what they say: When in Gensokyo, do as Gensokyoans do. And what we do is danmaku! Lots of it!"
>Reimu facepalms. "This isn't danmaku anymore as much as it is a big wall of colorful pain. I'm surprised we haven't seen any ridiculously huge lasers yet."
>Somewhere in the chaos, Marisa declares her signature spellcard. "Love Sign 'Master Spark'!"
>"And there it is," Reimu points out, "right on cue."

>Hey, we'll go and grab an extra wing crystal we have lying around in our room after this one times out! This is gonna be great!

>They both recover just enough to notice a giant laser headed straight in their direction.
>"There really should be a 'one laser-related death per day' rule," Wriggle muses.
>"Yup," Mystia agrees. They are both blasted through a wall, running straight into a swerving kasha and her karakasa passenger.
>"Huh," Rin scratches her head. "Well, a couple more passengers couldn't hurt~"

>Tenshi is breathing heavily. "You think you can stop me with just a few knives?" she gasps.
>In response, Sakuya puts a couple more knives in her.
>"Okay, that's starting to hurt," Tenshi admits.
>Outside the mansion, Iku has the feeling that Tenshi is getting into more trouble. She has too much on her own hands to worry about that, though. Getting hit by a stray bullet, she accidentally discharges two bolts of lightning.
>"My, Alice. This looks like quite the party, but it's past your bedtime isn't it?" Shinki smiles motherly.
>"Sure. I'd rather leave before I get knocked out like those youkai." Alice agrees.
>Yumeko bows to Sakuya. "Feel free to contact me in Makai whenever you would like to trade tips. I'm sure someone you know would be willing to open up a portal some time or another, but for now I must attend to my master."
>Sakuya bows back. "It was a pleasure having you here. I'll contact you later, perhaps."
>"C'mon, Yumeko! We're leaving!" Shinki calls.
>Shinki carries Alice, who is trying to break free, under her right arm. They run into Byakuren, who is dodging the danmaku effortlessly.
>"Ah, you're that magician who was sealed in Makai a while back," Shinki recognizes. "Be sure to make sure my Alice comes by to visit me when I leave!"
>Byakuren smiles. "I suppose I should; she is your daughter, after all."
>Shinki, Alice, and Yumeko leave the Scarlet Devil Mansion towards the Forest of Magic and Alice's house.

>"Oh, that?" Chiri laughs nervously. "It sorta requires nobody watching or paying attention to me, so you can't really copy it, I guess."
>"Shame," Patchouli observes, floating down from above. "I would have liked a spell that can create complex structures as effortlessly as you can."

>Futo - "Fzzt. Bzzz."
>Tojiko - Why the hell's our lightning not working?!
>Miko - Sigh. With friends like these...

>Tojiko scratches her head again. "No, wait. I did it all right. Maybe it'll work now!"
>Futo is struck by another bolt of lightning.
>Miko stops Tojiko before she can try to summon another one. "Stop. It hasn't been working, so there must be some other cause behind it."
>Futo is struck by lightning again. Everyone glares at Tojiko. "What? It wasn't me this time!"
>"I'm so sorry," Iku calls. "Wow, you must be really unfortunate! Huh, I wonder where the other lightning bolt struck..."
>Hina laughs. "I guess I should wait for all the sparks to die down before going in, eh, Nitori?"
>Nitori pulls out a cucumber. "Whatever. You should go for it if you want to. I'm sure nobody would mind that much. They'd probably be thankful, even."
>Aya pops out behind them. "Say, Hina. How does your power work? Just journalist curiosity."
>"Well, I can manipulate the flow of misfortune, and help spread it or keep it in one place or person. See?" Hina directs some ambient bad luck towards Aya, who gets struck by Iku's other thunderbolt.
>Hina bends over the dazed Aya. "By the way, spinning helps. If you want to get rid of bad luck quickly, just start spinning~!"

>Meiling taps Sakuya's shoulder. "Don't you think that's enough?"
>Sakuya shrugs carelessly. "Well, she's a celestial. They can handle these sorts of things."

>Chiri thinks about it. "I guess that sounds right. Are you sure Reimu's ability is floating? That sorta sounds too weak for a shrine maiden who can leave reality..."
>Reimu nods. "It's part of the reason Patchouli wants to know what the exact wording of your ability is. My ability lets me float anywhere, including places outside of reality."
>"Wow," Chiri stares. "Gensokyo is weird."
>Yukari laughs. "That may be, but it's still our Gensokyo, and nothing's going to end it while I'm around!"
>Satori is paying attention to the chaos outside. "It seems like most of the weaker youkai have been shot down already. Marisa's Master Spark certainly cleared the field."
>"Love Sign 'Master Spark'!"
>Komachi laughs. "There she goes again! I wonder how many copies of that spellcard she has."

>Hina - Let's make for the mansion! "And remember, spinning drives away bad luck~! Spiiiin~!"

>Hina finally arrives at the warzone, leaving Nitori and a zapped Aya behind. "My, there's just misfortune everywhere! I better get started on collecting it right away~!"
>She starts spinning and following a trail of strong misfortune.
