I am not planning to color it for now, I need to study more about painting before, but I played a bit on photoshop :V

When you are using network mode in OpenCanvas 1.1 to draw with somebody else, sometimes it goes out of sync and starts to create those horizontal lines automatically until it syncs itself back. That is the downside of using OpenCanvas 1.1, but drawing with somebody else is better than just drawing alone.

hello everyone! first post
I am admittedly new to touhou just discovering it this week, but damn I am hooked and in love with this series/universe.
My art style isn't anime but it actually makes me want to do a fully developed fan art piece for it even more. Bored at work last night I did a quick portrait of Reimu

Hope to get the real piece of art to some workable 'wip' state to show you guys

Welcome to the forums!

That's a pretty nice Reimu you have there, I always like seeing semi-realism and Touhou. You might want to consider moving her ear back a couple of centimeters as it doesn't quite line up to her jaw but aside from that it looks great, looking forwards to seeing it more completed.

You also might want to consider linking your Tumblr in your signature as opposed to hotlinking it in a post, if only because it'll get lost as more people post their art.

In art related news I started sketching my first actual touhou fan piece, here is a little snipbit!

I decided I wanted to add Genji to the painting!! Hopefully will have a more substantial w.i.p. late tonight or tomorrow

Also known as why I should never draw clouds ever again. Originally the hands weren't going to be there but then I was like 'I MUST CONFRONT MY FEARS' and stuck them on at the last minute. It made the arms look wonky too~

Thank you :3. I was actually moderately happy with the colouring and stuff, since one of my personal rules is 'if the lineart/lack of lineart looks strange, at least try to make the colours prettier'.

... Though I'm still going to practice the technical parts of drawing. Somehow. :munch:
