>Nero mews, and leaps off the platform at the metal thing with a spark attack. Only to smack hard against it, seeming to do little damage. He kicks off of it and attempts to land back on the platform.
>As he does so, the other pokemon beeps and twitches erratically, and places its arms together, aiming them at Nero. A beam of blue energy is fired at him.
