Disclaimer/notes about the Best Friend System since it's coming soon and some people are probably thinking about it/don't know all the details!

-You only get one selection, unless a reset is announced, much like the Present Egg Machine.
-By proxy due to the above, you may have multiple Best Friends.

-You and another person do not have to add each other to recieve the full effects on both ends. If you both add each other, someone's will be wasted. Try to form an agreement beforehand if you can to avoid this situation.

-If a Best Friend ditches, quits, goes on hiatus, deletes you, or any other event that would prevent you from seeing them log in for extended periods of time, then too bad - that selection was just wasted. Choose carefully!

Benefits:

-100 Pal Points when you use them instead of 10.
-You can see their super secret third team slot.
-You may use any of their three leaders infinitely as long as they've logged in at least once for that day.

My ideal best friend does not seem to exist in the world, so for now I got nothing. I may consider a hypermax I&I (although I don't think we have one in NA?) or Metatron from MOTK just so my selection doesn't go to waste never being used.

I'm asking because i absolutely love A.Venus, so i'm desperately looking for a way to use her.

A. Venus' true value lies in her active, honestly, and it shines the most on light-based combo/matching teams, like Kirin/Ra/Kali/DQXQ.

Like for real, the three light rows are nice and all, but light in general... doesn't use rows all that much in lieu of TPAs.

For example, my LKali team:
LKali/A. Venus/Izanagi/Fuma Kotaro/BOdin/LKali friend

Every last one of these units has one or more TPAs, which provides a hell of a lot more damage than a row does. LKali has two, Venus has one, Izanagi has one, Kotaro has one, BOdin has three (but not light-based). A row of light would add up to... a 40% damage boost, I think? Venus has 3 rows and Kotaro has 1. Meanwhile a single TPA adds 1.5x damage, and two TPA awakenings provides 2.25x. What I do when I want to do insane damage is pop LKali, then Kotaro to get rid of wood, then Izanagi to multiply all of my damage (aside from Venus because she is no longer God) by two, and then A. Venus to ENHANCE light orbs (which you have a lot of thanks to Kotaro, and use her CTW to arrange the entire board into TPAs, since every color uses them. 

That's where her true beauty lies, I feel.

I have no idea, but if you have an Android device, I suggest trying qooapp and downloading it through that. I couldn't play JP PAD until I did-- and the NA version is on there too, which is what the majority of us here play. Worth a shot.

It might be possible for someone here to get you set up with an NA APK. I don't know the specifics of how apks work, but it's typically how you get past region blocking I think?

Alas, I could not join the Sandalphon-crushers club today.  I screwed up against Raphael and had to use Force on him to not die, so I didn't have it for when I got to Sandy himself.  Despite a long struggle(well, if 9 turns counts as long), I could not survive long enough to get it back up in time.  Despite trying my hardest to nuke him from where he was, he lived and once the Birdcage fell it was all over.

After a long drawn out battle with my own mobile, i finally got PAD JP to work!!

And now begin The Pain: rerolling..... wait what? Gold egg on my FIRST roll? IZANAGI?!?!

I'm leaning toward keeping him:

1) no tears of blood due to rerolling
2) great sub in late-game
3) decent LS for starting

am i missing anything?

Well, it looks like in theory Verdandi can crush Mephistopheles no problem, but in practice I kept losing to him and I'm not really sure why. Three times I went for my big burst on him with a board change and GZL active, big combo with at least two sets of green prongs, and all three times it just didn't really hurt him. He kept dropping to around 25%. I swear that should be doing more, but either I don't understand Verdandi's damage range or I somehow messed up the combo all three times without noticing. If this was the real dungeon I'd be inclined to keep trying, but I won't get a stone for this and there's no way I'd ever trade 200 stamina for any orb at this point, so I guess I'm done but I know I can do this no problem in the future. Would be EZ mode if I had an Awoken Ceres friend to burn off Mephistopheles' bind, but none are up. Oh well.

Edit: Ah fuck, my Star Vault is at noon tomorrow. That is not how you get my money, PAD.

2) great sub in late-game

That's the thing though, he's a great late-game sub. His LS is awful for a starter because he only boosts God-types, which you won't be able to fit more than one of on your team for a very long time.

I suggest rerolling.

Were you at full health? Norns get +15% more damage on the muliplier (+0.15) depending on whether you're almost dead, above half, or full. If you were getting banged up a lot, you'd go from 10.89x to 9x, which is somewhat noticeable. This is why i'm glad I can run dual blodins on Skuld, as it removes this problem sometimes.

I was never at full health. At highest I think I was like ten HP above half, at lowest I was at a few hundred HP. That's definitely part of it I'm sure. The one time I came closest to finishing him being at full almost certainly would have made the difference, but I figured my best bet was always to try to chip him down as close to 75% as possible before bursting him, which meant sponging a lot of hits in the process. In theory I might even be able to push him past that, tank the god bind (especially if I bring Susano instead of Cu Chu, but I'm still one Tamadra away from him being finished so I held him back), and then very cleanly one-shot him from like half. My recovery is pretty bad though and I'd need to use hearts that were already on the board (plus Odin's autoheal and active), so it would be tricky.

My best combo was, at least I thought, an eight combo with three green two-prongs, and I can't imagine it's possible for him to survive that with GZL up, even from full and with my attack bonus at just x9. Either I botched the combo and somehow didn't actually match as many prongs as I thought, or I forgot to activate GZL and didn't realize it. I was pretty shocked to see him survive that.

Lots of uevos and awokens nowadays make gods lose their god type. For example, my Bastet team went from almost full god last year to almost no god types nowadays.
God enhance best use seems to be in rainbow teams but izanagi is inferior to muse in many ways.
Imo he's not the great end game sub he used to be, but then again unless there's one character you really really want, first roll isn't that critical, jp hands out stones like candy lol

If you have the patience, reroll. Izanagi's only niche nowadays is a God enhance with SBR and now that kind of thing just isn't needed anymore, and his primary weapon x2.0 god enhance got outclassed by Muse who also is B/G and covers God rainbow teams such as A.Ra. Even then, Muse's LS is unconditional and Izanagi's is HP conditional.
