Whilst any moment I've spent clearing one of the games would certainly count for this, there is one hour of my life that I will always treasure the most...

11th October, 2011.
Having been stuck behind Youmu so many times, I managed to keep most of my lives past her.
The next few minutes had my heart racing like mad. I was fighting Yuyuko; and for once, I was actually doing it.
The second I took her out on her last card, I glanced at my lives; 1 life spare. I took a deep breath and readied myself for the one card I had never faced before... Resurrection Butterfly.
With no lives and 1 bomb spare, I cleared PCB for the very first time; having started playing Touhou (which, ironically enough, was PCB) in 2009.
I think everyone on IRC that day was subject to my full on capslock approach on how I described that moment.

I'm glad you didn't ask for worst moment; because I cry just remembering it. :V

I delayed on this question like normal, but really, there's only one answer for me: Reimu's hair ribbon. Comically oversized ribbons are the best in my opinion. <3 Gengetsu's is also quite oversized in fanart, but the real one isn't so impressive.

Who is your favorite opponent in PoFV?

They're all are pretty different with spells and extra shots and whatever. So who is the most fun to fight? For me it's Mystia. She's not wall-happy, and her spells contribute to the danmaku rather than being some nightmarish thing that you have to cancel out with your own spells.

Yuuka. Slow moving walls mean you have to move around the screen a lot, and she tends to poop bullets everywhere to dodge between at the same time. A blast to play against.

Silly, you should have mentioned this earlier.

Komachi.

Lots of freedom on how to dodge (doesn't force you to one side or confine you to small areas) and she's hard to cheese for spell charge (unlike characters like Cirno, Shiki, and Yuuka) so you have to spend more time reading and dodging than lvl2-battling. She usually chews me up and spits me out, but she gives me a greater high than anyone else when I'm playing well. Aside from Shiki and her music, that is. Mystia is a load of fun too.

Doesn't change my overall answer, but I find that my degree of liking a given opponent depends heavily upon my character's focused speed, scope style, and attack speed (for reflected bullets).

I have two questions that haven't been done, so I'd appreciate a go before Donut has his finale. Not trying to claim next or anything, just once/twice before the end.

Tewi. All those patterns are rather easygoing, and I don't really have to focus on dodging when I fight against her.

Also, the fights against her usually end rather fast, so the rank doesn't rise too high and the randomness doesn't start to kill you. I think she's one of the easiest opponents you can no-blood as Youmu without focus usage or charge attacks, which is my idiotic style to play PoFV.

I also play it against a couple of my friends, one of them plays with Komachi, one with Reimu (and spams the level 1 charge attack) and the best one of them plays with Tewi. I guess that has given some.. training for me against these charachters, especially Tewi, who is rather much harder when played by my friend instead of the computer.
