well its hp will jack up 1k so it'll be very much more useable later imo. But yeah, sub material, not starter if that's what you're asking. Anyway, once they get their hp, they will be a good substitute for an ecchi-nida provided you have the appropriate colour, better in the cases of bosses that attack every 2 turns, or 4+ (equal if 1 or 3).oops

My impression is that all that cycle is very situational but passable enough if you're short on relevant subs or need the skill. I've mostly only gotten use out of my Undine though. (Have RGB of that cycle, still lack light/dark.)
My Sylph got me past Leviathan and Niflheim, which got me a Siren or two, opening a lot gates for me. I can only hate him so much. I'm going to ult evo him just because he looks cool and I have dublits crowding my inventory

Astaroth has farmable skillups in JP. Max skill dual astaroth can have her skill active indefinitely, which means you can just camp every descend boss and heal yourself forever while everything kills itself trying to attack you.

Alicetaroth was actually level 30, which I believe means I bypassed the godfest and got her from the floral carnival.
Now that we have autohealing in a non-leaderskill form (and on Odin himself even), I wonder if we'll see some dual Odin usage. Still isn't good for many late-game dungeons, though, which I reckon is the reason people stop using him.
Dual Odin has almost no point, so it's unlikely. If you're in a dungeon where Odin isn't rendered useless by multiple mobs or multi-hit attacks, then you can probably survive a single hit through Odin's shield anyway.

I have D/D Bats who is 12 cost unevolved and should make it doable with a Vamp Lord, Pierdrawn, Lilith, and a Dub Mythlit. We'll see.
Maaaaaaaybe if more of my unevo'd shit were leveled, like, at all.After scoring a Batman-arang myself, I guess I've probably got a pretty ok dark team for being a non-IAP player...Got that, got the heartbreaker, the orb changer...I'd just need some recovery or something, plus my team needs leveled badly if I'm to even look at something like that. Hm. Probably still way out of my league, but it's definitely closer to being in my range than most!
Though I do have a D/D Batman at least. I actually own a lot of the relevant monsters for potential teams. :V
In other news, I only just realized that all the ultimate evo heartbreakers (that exist so far) have their type's king slime in their art. :V
(By extension I think this means one ultimate Vampire version will be physical and the other devil? And then maybe the Gigas ultimate will be attacker to complete the cycle?)

That's my problem in JP. I just feed it plus eggs for when I have something I care about....it's actually the best way to store +'s, isn't it? It doesn't level up, right? I'll have to keep that in mind probably... Hadn't even thought about that.
i dont think it actually saves that much gold thoughWell, you don't have to pay an ever-increasing amount based on the level of the one being fed, yes? So it's just the 100 plus the Plus Egg Tax or however one wants to term it each time, right? As opposed to feeding, say, a Lv. 10 monster which would cost 1000+ the extra, and so on. It'd add up pretty fast, no?
It really depends on how much gold you have. Spend enough time headbutting the weekend dungeon and you'll have millions and will never need to worry about it anyway :vAh, hadn't really thought about that since I never end up doing so. I do a couple runs for the heck of it then do other things. Thus, I DO notice my gold amount, so if I get more +'d monsters, this'll be pretty handy for them. I almost want a third TAMADRA just so I can have one each to stock HP/Atk/Rcv points, forgetting all about Awakening for a bit.(I don't have anything at final stage that I wanna Awaken anyway.)

Honestly Hera is such a slog with a defensive team (I am assuming you're going either Dark Neptune lead or Ammy/Odin autoheal shenanigans) unless you have a need for her it's just not worth it. If I didn't have my Astaroth devil crew to stick her in, I'd have been really disappointed with how long that dungeon took.
I can zero-stone Hera with this team, but it's tedious.

Having the Lilith awoken once gives 500 autoheal, which is nice i guess. The Hera is awoken once also, but I don't think it makes much difference.
Other awakenings I have (Lucy, Bodin) don't add anything substantial to the team.
In the anglehouse we each threw down 2 rolls: MJP rolled a Cupid last night and Odin this morning. I somehow managed to pick up my 2nd Vritra and my 2nd AA Metatron lolwat.
I guess the Vritra is awakening fodder and I ought to get that up and running for when I roll with a Lucifer with my Astaroth crew for maximum nuking. And uh, is Metatron is a good Metatron sub? Minus that teamcost yikes.
So I decided to try out that Legendary Blizzard Dragon dungeon(lowest difficulty, but still.)...I trashed the randoms as expected, then the boss showed up...The timer was long, so I should have expected something like this, but...Holy CRAP that thing hits like a freaking TRUCK!
I won because Batman plus SoD Luci = over 25k hp plus good recovery, but what the heck? 17,100 damage on INTERMEDIATE!?
Yeah, the idea is you kill him before he strikes. You may not have felt it because you used Luci, but if you use a guy with an attack multiplier, you can down him fairly quickly.Had a feeling it was supposed to be "kill before he attacks", but still. Seems more than a little unreasonable for Intermediate. Maybe like 7,000 damage or so, sure, but over 17k?

imo there's two ways to improve her leader ability to simply bring her inline with the other Egyptian gods (namely Bastet)
Either 1. adding x3.5 attack when RGB matched, making her similar to the tricolor Chinese gods (not that much a of stretch considering Icecream Bastet has something like this)
or 2. adding x3.5 attack when 4 att matched and x4 when 5 att matched, making her even with Bastetor 3. she only gets stats and i am severely disappointed ;-;
also if Horus gets a leader change, then i'm guessing it will be on the lower end, ie. something like 2.5x attack when 3 att matched or something

I just took a mono-green and did it that way.I'm nowhere near the conditionals yet(haven't even beaten the first tier of technicals yet), but what did you do about the whole no green orbs thing in between charges of your orb changers of choice, if you didnt have dual element monsters?
the monsters dont hit very hard so if you have any HP multiplier leaders it's pretty easy to stall for the orbs
it does take a while though

I have an Ancient Dark Dragon Caol-ila, Dark High Ninja Hanzo, Batman D/D, too, but the other two have gotten me through a lot and I'd like to keep using them.
I honestly think egyptians have some great leaders even i you have chinese.
I have haku and while she's great, shes just not practical in tricolour dungeons, and dungeons with single colour exceptions are also a source of problems more often than not. Plus bastet is extrmely good for tricolours. But yeah, i wouldnt mind an isis or a horus for the reasons above. Ra cant do anything chinese lack in, and anubus is just lawl.

I remember when i started everyone was talking about how hard castle of satan was, so i pre-emptively read some guides on it and they strongly recommended TWO rks for the dungeon... I did it on my first try no issues before ever even managing the teamsize to use just 1 (with my persy). Not that im bragging, 2 rks for satan is seriously ridiculous.Wait, they think you need Rainbow Keepers for the Castle of Satan dungeon? Are they talking the normal one, or the In the Abyss technical...? I'm in Polar Night Tower right now(could probably be farther if I was focusing on clearing Normals, but I spend most time doing Special dungeons if anything, sometimes messing around with Technicals as well.)
Dub-mythits are by far a way better thing to get for early game... But in any case, grats! Thats probably your first master difficulty clear right? I remember it used to take me 45 mins to kill rk lol (though odin's nuke is 2.5x stronger now).

You have Freya, so with some levels and evolving she's also pretty rocking and also wins the prize for #1 Cute Cat Puzzlemon (sorry Bastet but it's true) so there's that. Still have the best leader + sub combo for Team Darkness I think, especially since the dungeons have taken the training wheels off at this point and they're going to throw stupid things at you to deal with.
ADK is supposed to be good, right?
I use my ADK team a looooooooooooot for easy farming; its main problem is that all the 9x type teams are pretty squishy but Dragon doesn't have the utility a lot of the others can bring to the table. It has the advantage of being very easy to put together though - mine's ulti ADK with green/dark rippers, Top Droidragon, and ulti CDK for subs, and I also have ulti green and dark starters and an ulti Drawn Joker if I need (no Fortoytops yet, sadly).
Worst case it's not a bad team to keep in your pocket.
I just wish I were good enough for an Egyptian or Chinese team. Well, even with ridiculoudly subpar subs and almost no friends (relevant or otherwise) my Byakko team on my alt seems to do okay so I might be able to handle 3-color Chinese (and thus also probably Isis), and I'm not atrocious at Bastet, but my Horus and my Kirin are both languishing sadly in my box. >_<

Problem with Aztec gods is there's really only one with name recognition these days. Babylonians have lots. Marduk, Shamash, Tiamat, Gilgamesh and Enkidu (not gods but heroes), Enlil, Enki, Ishtar, Tammuz ...
There's plenty of Indian and Egyptian gods they could do second waves of them too. Indian you could probably do a third.

Yeah, the tri-color makes it kinda harder! it mostly covers the weaker tri-leaders, such as Isis. Running robin/bastet for example would kinda suck because two slots CAN'T attack.

Highlander turns into something like 3x attack for balanced mons once evolved he's totally something I would go for if I didn't delete my Artemis and Verche in hopes of getting a Chinese god.I just looked him up. As for Dark Meta...Really, one of the rarest rolls of the game? Wow. Even if I didn't get anything I was directly after, I guess I really got something nice. Also since I've got almost all the Devils I've at least got SOME sort of team to use wth her once I can afford to do so. Any other good Attackers I could look at for way later when I can do so? (Anywhere, also, that I should consider her as a sub? Even if it'll be a LONG while before I can use her, it'd still be nice to have some direction for using something so seemingly nice.)

I wouldn't be so sure about having to wait so long for dark meta. Just use her as a sub. She has Odin-tier stats IIRC. Anything that likes dark and light orbs is happy to make room for her. Using her in Kirin is a thing for example. You have mono-black right now, she'd be nice there.Not sure I have enough room for her in my mono-Dark, but I can look a little later. ...huh, it didn't really dawn on me that I've got the means to, once I level up/evo the components, make both a fire and wood team since I've got the heartbreaker and orb changer for both those elements. Same element subtype is NOT more damage since its 10% instead of 30... Unless you are using them in a 4/2/2 or 4/4 mono colour team or something. But yeah, ive decided that dragons i general are just a waste of bag space. Im keeping samurai dragons, skydragons, and ancient dragons just in case they'll become more useful later on but until that happens i rekon ill have enough teamsize that their 50/60 cost wont be so massive anymore.

IMO that class of dragon is just good for resistances if you don't have a ripper... They are in fact slightly better than rippers but so slight that it's not worth the resources leveling both if you already have one imo.
Some may argue that rippers have better stats earlier but I think that's less so the case once you factor in the exp you spent evolving the rippers to their final form first.
I was curious about this, so I decided to try and do the math. Assuming you stop feeding at lvl 30, the whole process takes about 900k xp rounding up. You get a guy with 1692 HP, 1051 ATK, and 111 RCV. Rounding down, it takes Helhiem about 1.1 mill to get comparable health, and about 2.3 million to get comparable ATK and RCV.Huh. I guess it's good I already have a Devil Dragon then! Just gotta Ult it eventually, but I'm not really worrying about that when there're other Dark monsters I own of higher priority such as...pretty much everything BUT DD and Helheim.

What 'happened' to it is that I just stopped using it. I cycle through themes fairly often, though not quite as much recently. That said, I'm kind of astounded you remember it-- I only used it for a while 4 years ago. I always have been proud of it though-- I made it back when I used to put a lot of effort into sigs.

What do I need to do to beat a Hera Descended dungeon?
rdj - I don't think any of the active posters here have beefy Odins :( I'm working on mine, but it's unlikely he'll even be evolved by then - I'll still put him up, I beat Hera with a regular Odin buddy so it's still doable! The magic number is 8214 HP to survive a Hadespunch (of course, more is always better) which I don't know if you can hit and still field the 3 auto-heal awakenings on your own, but if not you can likely run the more traditional resist method and it'd be pretty much the same puzzlemons.

Ah, I see. :( I do have enough Tamadras in reserve to fully awaken my Siren but I'm also using those to store +eggs, so if I used those the cost to put more on her later would go up (but she'd have some extra RCV for her leader skill!). Like you said, though, HP is a concern.Don't burn your Tamadras on Siren, you probably have someone more worthy/harder to duplicate. Since DJ also is a heartmaker, that'll give you some more wiggle room for emergencies but the HP is really the make or break factor for this strategy. Again if you can't find a better Odin I'll put mine up that day, but there's pretty much no chance he'll be evolved so that's like 2k HP, 2.3k max :ohdear:

Sweet, super metals let me max out my Vamp Lord, and since I can re-farm a third one to fav as a sub by the time I'll want it again I was able to evolve him. (Speaking of, is there any compelling reason not to go for the dark-main ultimate over the water-main one when I can?)
The blue one's leader skill is 3x ATK to all dark types, no strings attached.
... oh damnit I got them mixed up. For some reason I thought one was a buff to Demon-type and the other was to Dark (I think it was because the king slimes in the other heartbreakers' art actually do match) and obviously the Dark buffer being the dark-main would make more sense.

Man, I REALLY need a Bastet. Just ran through(or more accurately, ran OVER)the Master Tricolor dungeon with Edible's Bastet since I had no money. Completely destroyed basically everything. One floor did scare me with two synced Divine Masks, but then I got a 17 combo...yeah, you can probably figure the result there yourself.

Bonus multipliers are all well and good (lol 5 colors + hearts: Christmas Miracle Ra?) but the real bonus for him is the extra water element. Double Ra teams having one less color to worry about means you have much more variety in terms of teams.
