I just realize how bad late bloomers are. At max level, they only barely beat the starter dragons in stats. And that's not taking into account they fact starter have a better leader skill, need less than half the xp, and the same element sub-type will more than likely result in more damage.

They have decent awakening skills though. If they starting adding utility to breath attacks, things could look up. I still think both they and the starter dragons could use a slight buff in stats.

Dragons in general have pretty good awakenings, which is handy considering how easy they are to awaken

Yeah I've been holding onto extra rippers and starters and working them towards awakening fodder just 'cause I figure why not.

The main advantage of late bloomers is you get to pick their sub-color, which is handy if you need one more spot in a rainbow Lucifer team for samurai dragons for example, or a Windy Woods team or something.

Same element subtype is NOT more damage since its 10% instead of 30... Unless you are using them in a 4/2/2 or 4/4 mono colour team or something. But yeah, ive decided that dragons i general are just a waste of bag space. Im keeping samurai dragons, skydragons, and ancient dragons just in case they'll become more useful later on but until that happens i rekon ill have enough teamsize that their 50/60 cost wont be so massive anymore.

Most spike damage teams like to gravitate to one color though. Otherwise people would choose chaos Venus over light venus in healer teams. When you're packing all those orb changer and enhnacements, it cancels the 30% advantage the other element gets.

IMO that class of dragon is just good for resistances if you don't have a ripper... They are in fact slightly better than rippers but so slight that it's not worth the resources leveling both if you already have one imo.

Some may argue that rippers have better stats earlier but I think that's less so the case once you factor in the exp you spent evolving the rippers to their final form first.

You get a guy with 1692 HP, 1051 ATK, and 111 RCV. Rounding down, it takes Helhiem about 1.1 mill to get comparable health, and about 2.3 million to get comparable ATK and RCV.
I didn't factor the effort needed to get the evolution materials though, but they shouldn't be too much. I'd highly suggest just getting the ripper.

What the.  Bastet's name changed.  She's now "Feline Deity of Harmony Bastet" instead of "Love Deity Feline of Harmony", which I guess makes more sense.
