I knew about this thing from a friend who plays GC, he was hyped up about it like no tomorrow.
I never thought the English version would come so soon though.

I mean sure, I heard about this last year, and they already have the leafblade-toting dude over where it all began, but still.

game looks pretty now but it's probably clunky and as boring as ever. also it'll prolly run slower as well.

If you've played Grand Chase, then the gameplay will be quite familiar.

A guy I know plays GC, he's decent.
Haven't talked to him much anymore due to differences of opinion though.

But I do wonder if he knows about the English Beta yet?
If he doesn't, then I have something over on him.

IMO Elsword is a better version of Grand Chase. It's also apparently more Dungeon oriented than PVP, so that's either a plus or minus depending on what kinda gamer you are.

That's good, I originally was interested in trying grand chase actually but was turned off and decided not to when I heard it was pvp oriented.

Eve comes after Raven, who I'm looking forward to.
So in about.....3-6 months maybe?
Give it time Odda, she'll be here before ya know it!
Anyhow, I can usually be found on channel 1 or 2, I roll Elsword himself.
I have the Phoru Slayer title, so I'm probably not that easy to find.
But I do have a bronze striking sword I really should equip.
...Maybe here in a week, once the cool starter gear wears off.

If you guys wanna do forest ruins hard, I'm always ready for a brawl!

EDIT: I sword monsters, and bosses who are human.
I like swords.

Played it a little bit, it's a beta so I wont be too critical. But it does feel rather "clunky" as someone put it. Not that I've really seen much better in an action oriented FTP MMO..so err yeah. I will try more later.

It'll get better once they add in job changes, as well as Raven and Eve.
But so far it gets good marks from me.
Lot easier than GC, no heavy-duty combo action, just a good clean hack-n-slash.

That was my response when I saw the thread at first too.
They only have Elsword, the archer chick, and the magician chick.
I suspect that a little while after the beta's over they'll release Raven, and possibly Eve.

I'm keeping my other slots free until Raven is released,since he's the one I want to play most of all.

There's still Eve to be released, though I hear she plays more like Alice.

I think that's correct. Not sure if it's a different one or not, but grand chase and elsword are loosely connected by that "Elesis is Elsword's sister" thing.

As for a sword girl...I don't think there are any in Elsword, but Rena fights using kicks and her bow, and even has an entire job tree dedicated to increasing her melee abilities, so I guess that could fit...Maybe?

it's able to keep my attention for a few weeks at a time, it's p cool

too bad they don't have Eve or Chung yet though :<

I can usually be found doing runs of shadow forest hard, collecting loots to sell/save up.
So you should at least be able to handle the Giant...whatever it is.
