- Myouren has met Prince Shotoku, according to his legend (Myouren's), and helped Prince Shotoku win the battle against the Mononobe clan, which opposed buddhism
- Myouren's unknown sister, once again according to his legend, went after a purple cloud (did it have a hitbox?) to search for him
- Myouren would've been the UFO's final boss, then ZUN realized that it was uncommon for the series to have male characters in games (bosses/playables), then Prince Shotoku gets
genderbent in TD
- the probable inspiration for Yuyuko, Saigyou Hoshi, was born around 1050 AD, it's said that he lived in an age where buddhism was in decline; this is long after Prince Shotoku died, and it *may* imply that Yuyuko actually never met Miko in person, not that she did imply in the first place (when she said "a troublesome person is returning" or something like that in TD's first stage).
- Kaguya consumed the Hourai Elixir, then is found out and sent to execution, revives through the executions continuously, gets banned to Earth (without Eirin), protagonizes the legend of the bamboo cutter, is almost sent back to the moon but Eirin (who felt guilty for having made the elixir, not expecting Kaguya to use it on herself and not having suffered any punishment like Kaguya had) betrays the other emissaries and hides with Kaguya at the bamboo forest. This all happens around 1300 years ago (which is apparently near the time when Mokou stole the Hourai Elixir from mt. Fuji), which means that Eirin left her trap at the moon (which would be triggered around 1000 years ago or more) before leaving it, and wasn't present at the Lunar Capital at the time.
- Urashima Taro (in the Touhouverse) is said to have visited the Lunar Capital (thinking that it was the Dragons' Sea Palace) over 1500 years ago (I had to look up the year, to look for plotholes, which is partially what this thread is for

), Eirin was present at that time and gave him the aging medicine that he used after going back to his world.
