Yes.

Really though, it found a use in many different cultures, centuries before being adopted by everyone's least favorite mustache. Which makes sense since it is a very simple yet recognizable symbol.

Yeah, I'm trying to remember the term for the inverted one. I know it isn't "manzai" because that's the double-act thing ... or manju ... Hmm, now I'm hungry for manju.

Manji.

Oh, that's why it's called the [Manji-Parasol of Yakumo]. Now there is an easy way to remember that.

I believe in Japan the manji is used as a map icon to indicate a temples for worship, as well as for other religious things.

I think I also heard once that the manji or a similar symbol was used as a Native American sign for good luck or some such.

Isn't the Manji sitting 'straight' while the swastika is angled 45 degree? Or am I wrong.

Yeah, the swastika is supposed to be tilted a bit.

Apparently, if you try to go above Kogasa in Rain Sign "A Rainy Night's Ghost Story" (the easy and normal version of the spell card in which the bullets only ever fall down), she will actively try to ram into you. Kinda funny. Wonder how many people found that out? I mean, who would ever want to try to go above her in that particular spell card for anything else than for the lols?

You know, that's a surprisingly fun thing to do. She only seems to chase you when you are really high up though, so getting a few inches down for a second makes her lose track of you.

That's ZUN's anti-cheesing methods at work there. :3  Not sure how many bosses have it now, since a lot of spell cards in more recent games seem to be designed to eliminate blind spots one way or another, but while messing around on IN Practice Start a while back, I discovered that if you go above the "bowl" in Kaguya's second spell card, she spams rings of bullets until you die.

Imperishable Night had a lot of that to be honest.
It's silly what you find when you spam Youmu's bomb in every pattern in that game. Tei rages, Kaguya rages. Pretty sure one of Reimu's cards did that.

Apparently Reimu doesn't complain when you try to move into the ring of small pellets in her Demon Binding Ring (or whatever) spellcard.

This is cool, I never knew she did that. Had a little fun just now.

On a side note, after playing that stage in practice, at the end, I accidentally pressed save replay, then used x to get out. A bomb ensued for a few split seconds, then froze on the screen. (just the bomb froze, not the game) Found a glitch. :]

Yeah, apparently in SA and UFO (and probably MoF and TD too), if you're at the end of a stage in practice mode, you can "unnecessarily" use a bomb.
I think it's because the game doesn't recognize that the player is supposed to be paused (shouldn't use bombs, shoot, etc.) at that moment.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing this several times actually.  On many occasions after I finished up practicing Stage 6 of SA, I would notice that I could still move and shoot for about 1-2 seconds after the menu appeared on-screen before my character actually paused.

On the subject of glitches, I got bored of sitting through the ending of IN so after beating Kaguya I went back to the menu as the screen faded white, and then the menu loaded and... faded to white XD

I think this is a mu;ti-game thing, too.  Did a practice run vs. Yuyuko, and then went out of the stage quickly after I won, and the effect stayed.  Probably something to do with already-in-progress-transitions causing the game to be confused or some such.

IN Stage 6B - the moon starts off a bit off to the left, but after a few spellcards, it moves to the very center of the screen?

On the topic of Blindspots, Reimu's first card on easy has a ridiculously fun blind spot to exploit. You can spin with  her shots earing some nice graze. Too bad she does away with this in normal and higher.

Tewi's second pattern has easy to use gaps on every difficulty. you can just sit in that spot and no bullets will ever hit you.

Also i haven't forgotten the countless times i've got slammed with boss bullets by getting too close in IN. PCB had some too iirc.

Actually that's the draw of the pattern. You're supposed to figure out that you take advantage of one spot instead of actively dodging.

Everyone probably noticed this one since it's blaringly obvious, but Eirin's background for her non spells change for each one i believe.

Huh... A safespot in one of Youmu's spellcards?
I randomly replicated it in one of my runthroughs (was trying to unlock all stages in Practice mode, so replay, I have not one)

the card doesn't exist on hard and lunatic

also there are quite a few safespots in the card, and many many ways to clear any given wave by standing still

While watching replays in IaMP, I noticed something odd with Yukari's alternate colors. Her umbrella, while she's standing still, should be white. (as opposed to pink) However, in one of her image frames, it turns to pink. Slight goof there. :V

In TH13, the bar behind names on the difficulty selection screen slightly tilts when you move to a different selection.
"Extra"'s bar is about the same as "Easy".

Kogasa has been appearing quite frequently, appearing in 12, 12.5, and 13.
Spoiler:
Nue
has also appeared in all those games.

New reccuring characters? The next new players in the fighting games?

Obvious one but.

Sakuya has stopped appearing as either a playable or opponent as of SWR. All other games (Excluding Fairy Wars)(MoF and after) have had appearances by Sanae in some way.

In Mokou's "Possessed by Phoenix" there is a large pink ring that slowly shrinks in size until the spell ends.
