While I agree now that the barrier would be nice, getting to build twice per turn > building once per turn for like 4 turns to get the barrier.

Plus, it's defense tower bonus at the moment would be nill because we don't even HAVE any Defense Towers. Let's build one soon. Maybe this turn.

Clearly either Iced Fairy planned this, or we got the really crappy end of the stick. Barrier is likely the only thing that prevents those idiots.

Iced Fairy, what was that recent event based off of? I was thinking of the Diablo games or some other MMO, but I'm not certain.

This was decently high end, but you've been surprisingly lucky about avoiding all the other terrible events.

Avoiding the edition way, I'll state simply that when it comes to having to FIGHT the characters you want them to be playing 2nd or 4th.

I avoided the really cheap tricks because they didn't beat your defense.

And having said that, I must redeem my honor.   :colonveeplusalpha:

Next big one we get should reference a more popular MMO or MMO-like game, that isn't WoW or D&D. PSO or Diablo mehbeh? >:D Seriously, if we get invaded by chars from a game, please make it PSO ^_^

It would take multiple turns to gain the stuff needed for the barrier, right? Let's do what we can to allow building it soon, but let's not go outright focused on it.

In a sane manner, when was the earliest point we coulda gotten access to Double Build/Apophis Lv3?

There was no sane manner to do that.  Apophis wasn't supposed to have a level 3, but you pushed for training via special actions so I tweaked things.

Can Devil summoning be used several times on the same devil in one turn i.e. summoning Elminia so that she can train, support her own training, and support Ruby's quest for gems all on the same turn?

Anyone wanna try 5+ of the same devil before we make the choice end the game? Once it's viable to do so, I mean. It sounds like it can be hilariously funny to try, and if we get to the point where we can end the game any time, what do we have to lose?

I think it may be wiser to give Marie 400 golds instead, and have her spend it on healing the wounded. And calling on anyone she needs to assist in this.

Maybe give Helepolis the week off.

"Hm... Well we can fix the weather magically, but your way sound easier.  Elspeth is cleared for light work, have her plant the seeds."  After a few seconds Yuki added, "And Mai is bored, so have her quick grow the plant for you."

Heather smiled happily.  "Thanks!  I should have everything done before the first rains start!"

Yuki slapped a sound dampening spell on the window.  It wasn't just rain apparently.  There was hail too.  Fortunately their windows were protected against that, but it was still loud as all hell.

"There.  Now Allouette, how's the garden holding up?"

"The hail's damaged our flood control work, but it shouldn't be too damaging.  I expect Heather to fix it easily," the devil replied.

"Good," Yuki turned her attention to where Mai was scrying. "Any other damage Mai?"

Mai just shook her head.  Apparently Heathers plan had worked.

Yuki smiled.  Heather's advice had paid off.  It was anticlimatic, but sometimes that was a good thing.
Event:Torrential Rains!  For the next week heavy rains will flood the area.  Little damage is expected due to Heathers work.
No affects due to preperations.
This week's work caused 0 stress.
Maya is hurt
Joan is slightly hurt but can ignore it

Empower Gem - 1 gem 100 mana - Gives you 50 mana to use later.
Money Tree - 1 gem, 5 mana - Ads 5 income
Planar Portal - 10 gems 50 mana or 15 gems 100 mana - Creates a portal to a location inside/outside of Makai.

Special Actions - Maximum 7 - Limit one per devil/magician
Stress Relief - Helepolis.  Removes d10+10 stress.
Grind levels - Ruby.  Helps (slowly but safely) level Ruby and gets random drops.
Dance Party - Requires Dancer, Bartender.  Devils do not become bored at the end of the week.   Morale may be gained, and stress may be gained or lost depending on RNG.  This party costs d4 * 4d10 in cash.  Butler can decrease the multiplier.
Forge Tool - Ferra.  Once per devil spend $1000 and 5 gems to gain a level.
Support - Elmina.  By using her action one special action automatically succeeds.
Fight Crime - Mai.  This weeks event is canceled and reduces notoriety.  Mai and Yuki may be injured.

I like that Maid's Quarter. More maids theoretically means more things we can do. Or at least more fun mischiefs. Also get a defense tower going.

Lets get the hurt devils healed, spending money if we need to.

Gems to wood(not sure how many) so that we can get two buildings that need the 425 Wood.

Maid quarters would be good, maybe the business room as well. If not, meeting room, so as to lower the price on the Tower.
