> Technically, the Lake of Blood is part of Gensokyo, right on the border. It's hard to tell if it's morning or not by the blood-mists, which, as Kurumi stated is the reason for her being here, blot out the direct sunlight enough for it not to harm her. [Some still gets through, but the blood-mist heals Kurumi far far faster than the amount of sun getting through can damage her]
