>You start to work on the lock. It's been awhile, but you never really forget the basics. After that, it's largely feeling your way through the tumblers. Given you've had to learn how to feel your way through transformations before you ever encountered a true lock, you fall into navigating by touch easily enough. After a few minutes of work, the lock clicks. It wasn't a very bad one at all.

> Gently open the door.

>You give Mystia a thumbs up. She nods back to you in turn.
>You each the door open, pleased to find that the hinges are in good condition and do not squeak. The door seems to be well balanced, swinging inward with only a light shove from you. In fact, you end up grabbing the handle to keep it from smacking into a wall.
>Inside, you can see a room with wooden floors, and woven mats covering much of it. A sizable table sits in the middle of the room, with three cushions set  at the south, north, and east sides of it. A couple of empty teacups sit on the table, one at the eastern side and one at the west. An empty charcoal brazier sits near the table. It's a bit hard to tell in the dark, but you think the room's a bit dusty. Toward the back are paper walls, and a siding door hanging half open, leading further in. The building is quiet. Obvious exits are North and South.

>You start to restore you wings. This takes you a moment, but it goes off without a hitch and you feel a bit more comfortable with yourself.
>You quietly make your way toward the brazier. While it's been awhile since you've done any second story work, you remember well the basics of moving without excessive noise. Checking the brazier, you feel that the sides are cold. Inside, you note the remains of some charcoal that seem to have been used within the last day.

>You move over to the door and peek around it.
>You see a long hallway stretching to the left and right. The floors are paneled with bare wood, while unadorned paper walls line its sides. There are several sliding doors set into the walls opposite of you, all of them closed. You are certain there are more of them on the other wall that you cannot see. The hall seems to be empty at the moment.
