[21:15:22] <Reisen-Udongein-Inaba> So I'm thinking we have two options
[21:15:27] <Reisen-Udongein-Inaba> Keep following the trail
[21:15:34] <Reisen-Udongein-Inaba> Or try to push west through the forest
[21:15:44] <Reisen-Udongein-Inaba> Since that seems the best combination of "crosswise" and away from the evergreens

Draco is dumb and won't respond so I put this forth to the general public.
[22:40:12] <Drake> "guys i donwloaded esod but its not workan"
[22:40:21] <Drake> REPORTED
[22:40:25] <NaturallyOccurringChoja> PROBATED
[22:40:30] <Drake> ORGASM
[22:40:32] <NaturallyOccurringChoja> FUCK YEAH

[22:28:39] <Edible> Mafia would be a much easier game if we were playing "spot the asshole"

>Have a search around the west side of the trail. Can we find anything that might be a well-concealed path?

>You look around the west, and find nothing like a trail. You may be able to make your way through the flora, but it is certainly not something that is done often enough to make any kind of trail here.

>You peer into the log, and see the knob on the door is on the right side. Presumably, the door opens on the left.

>"Left's the side your door is NOT on when you open it to go out."

>The door creaks open, and red-haired faerie pokes her head out, giving the door an appraising look. Then she motions westward, saying, "That way." Then she slams the door shut.

>Turn to Mystia.
>"Well, west it is, I guess."
>Try to find as clear a spot as we can to begin picking our way through.

>The faerie doesn't reply.
>Mystia nods. "It's something, at least."
>You look toward the western side of the path, and start to work your way through the woods. It's difficult, but not impossible. Mystia follows a few steps behind you, largely using the trail you blazed. You continue on like for several minutes, dodging under low branches, around inconvenient bushes, banging your red wings on the occasional limb, and scaring off a deer at one point. Aside from the deer, the forest is fairly quiet. And while it's difficult to traverse, at least it hasn't tripped you or tangled you up too much. Still, you imagine the log faerie probably has a much easier time of this than you are.
>After maybe ten minutes of this, you come across a another largish trail. It stretches toward the south in one direction, and angles slightly northwest in the other.

>Head south

>You follow the path, pleased to find the going is significantly easier. It twist and wends about like the prior one did, heading southwest in general.
>After about fifteen minutes of travelling through more forest like that you've seen, and an ill-placed mosquito cloud, you can hear something rustling in the brush up ahead.

>Whatever is causing the rustling is probably fairly largish. Bigger than a faerie, you imagine. Unless a faerie is just being loud...
>It's some yards away. The foliage prevents you some seeing it.

>You might, the low-hanging foliage up ahead doesn't seem to be too bad.
>You do your best to keep quiet and creep upward a bit. Looking ahead, you can see a large black animal on the trail, its head buried into a bush. It is probably about waist-tall to you on all fours, with a thick body covered in shaggy fur, and a little nub of a tail. The noises it's making ceases.
