Life and death are without purpose.  Our attempts to give them one are quite presumptuous of us.  But in the end, we exist, and that is enough.

Current status: Dissuading deliberately choking for imagined fame.

> So there's no open land separation between the trees and the walls?
> What is currently in each of the four cardinal directions?

>No.
>Southward, you see trees. Eastward, there are trees and eventually mountains. Northward, you can see the Lake, and Alice's House. Westward (well, more west by northwest) is Scarlet Devil Mansion, and more trees beyond it.

> Can we see anything in the forest we can use as a landmark, like an especially tall tree, or is it just a whole lot of samey leaves from up here?

>There are a few scattered trees that tower over the rest, which should serve as adequate markers. As well, you think you see the occasional small clearing. You really can't determine anything like leaf type from the air unless you get close.
