We do have a precedent of a stage 1 boss being tied in with the plot though - Nazrin.

An exception is needed to proof a rule. Also, I mentioned that at least in the demo, we wouldn't get much involved in whats really happening. As I said, a stage 1 or 2 boss can easily come back later and mean business, but who would have thought, Nazrin would come back as the servant of a tiger.

Don't know if anyone here has mentioned this already, but I found an interesting tidbit in PMiSS while I was doing some research for a story.If we're dealing with divine spirits, is it possible that Heaven's basically run out of room and started having to kick people out? It fits with the 10-spiritual-realms idea, so are we going to see Reimu punching more gods in the face?

I don't get half because I don't know how to moon and GTranslate makes it confusing, but he mentions a trial during Reitaisai. Maybe.

There really aren't many details beyond that, as far as I'm aware.

I said I DID read it and I didn't see it. Reitaisai (maybe?) isn't exactly a definitive release date. I'm pretty sure I saw it clarified later on.

Also, im expecting people to claim that the game is bullshit on the day that the trial is released because of the new gimmick that Zun's added in this release. Very much like how many thought how UFO was harder because of the new system and therefore bullshit.

This isn't based on just my opinion alone. Zun said that he made the difficulty harder by adding in a new element in the game.

He said he made the game more complicated to make the difficulty easier. I'm assuming by 'complicated' he means some fancy game mechanic of some sort (like maybe hypers).

I really do think Zun is going to even out the difficulty in this game.

I trying to point out that Zun is basing most of the difficulty on the patterns themselves instead of making it harder because of gameplay mechanics, or because of anything else that could be considered "fake difficulty." :V

Yeah, Kogasa is the only persona in the UFO cast I really like. But I'm not really sure if I want her back enough to "kill" a spot for a new potential character I might possibly like more (unlikely but more the merrier). Hatate and Kasen are different simply because they haven't had their turn yet in the XX.0 games yet.

I'm not really fond of Hatate though, for the same reasons I'm not fond of Sanae.
Kasen on the other hand could use an appearance.
On that note, there's a few other characters who didn't get the chance to show in the games but imo totally deserve it, like Tokiko.
