It's true that they're underground, but in Touhou Hisoutensoku shows much more detailed, even if it wasn't seen in Chireiden

Huh, I thought the border was always there.

It took me a long time to realize that's what makes your shots change color though. I always used to think Alice's beam turning red was a glitch. :derp:

Well, ehhh, let me try to fix that, there is normally a border around ur character, but when ur over 80 or -80% the border darkens and gets some other small details... If I remember right. Well, all I remember is that the border changes.

( im pretty sure that there isnt the small details, but im not certain...)

I thought it was her cape at first (coming off of her sprite, like she'd thrown it off in a dramatic fashion), but I /believe/ it's a bug.

It could still be. The "Fun Facts" section of Touhou wiki profiles are often filled with speculative phrasing, such as, "The cat in the background of Utsuho might be a reference to ...". If you read the Talk pages, you'll see even more speculation.

And I never noticed that EoSD's bubbles have a larger hitbox than (for example) SA bubbles. ... damn bubbles...

I'm also curious about that thing that drops down from Wriggle. The first few times I played Imperishable Night, I kept trying to "capture" this object in some way. To me it looks like a derby hat with a feather in it, but that makes no sense.

Lunatic? Hell, I can't get to her on /normal/. (Granted I haven't played much and my last run was Hard and I got to the first few waves of her stage, but!)

Also, I had no idea about the option to change lives (in earlierish games) for non-IN games until a few weeks ago. :| I now check all option menus beforehand.

Oh You are right! I remembered I saw them on the pc-98 games but I never touched them because I thought "This should be easy". And I was, of course, wrong xD

This isn't something I noticed recently, but I'm sure other people might find it interesting: the midboss in LLS Extra is identical to midboss Nue in both appearance and behavior (glowing orbs that drop items before leaving, ending with a 1up).

Nah, touhouwiki mentions her being the stage 2 midboss for MS, despite the fact that that's blatantly a clock and lacks the item-dropping behavior. I'll edit that when I'm not on a phone.
