Update
I have encoded stuff for the level 3 bosses but I am going to hold off on releasing version 0.08 until I can get a couple more things done, particularly for the Reisen and Sanae scenarios.

You wouldn't release games as quickly if you had a full time job on top of school either. Also to be noted this is version 0.08 which means the next update will be the strongest update. Any ideas on what I should add there?

I try but I can't seem to find you on irc. Do you have rpgmaker xp?  Also it has been almost two days and no one has complained about bugs in the game which could be a good thing.

I do have the maker. I've also been a bit deep in work. PM'ing me would work better.

Ever consider that people have lost interest?

People have lost interest?   :ohdear: I am so sad. But anyways work on the strongest update is coming along. Namely the new combat system will be implemented with level 4 and 5 bosses as least. That also means I have changed my sprite schedule around a bit and work on Iku is progressing well.

Also I have realized one of the basic flaws in the game, namely too many characters and not enough to do with them. It is also my plan that the strongest update will have a bunch more events, a few dozen is my goal.

Just as a note I am not dead yet even though there has been a huge lull in progress. I was able to finally finish the Iku sprite today though.

I know the feeling. It's also why very little work has been done on the strongest of updates. However I do have a couple of ideas that I plan to implement.

You have a great game here but I found certain things that bug me.
note: I played as Reimu

-Marisa is too weak once you get to the higher levels (for me anyway)

-Shikieki is tough but doesn't do much damage to me and gives too much exp. I mean I got from level 20-30 to 50+ just by versing her all the time.

-Non-Ex dungeon bosses are too weak once you get to 20-30 level or less.

-I can't recruit Sanae.

-What do you do with the fishes?

-Keine learning goes beginner, average, average then nothing.

-I can't complete Ex-Dungeon 2, even tough I followed those direction.

-Shows an error when trying to go beyond the graveyard north of town.

-Can you do a better hint for the Tea set quest.

-Oh and you have certain glitches in the houses of Aya, Yukari, Marisaand some more I can't remember.

Those are the ones I can think off top of my head.

Sorry but I haven't been working on the game in a long while. However as I now know there is still interest in it I will start up again. Today I am working on a leaves event with Youmu.

I am currently working on the problem you brought up Doll Warrior.S
-I have fixed the Keine and Aya problems.
-I am boosting the stats for final and ex bosses
-I can't figure out the problems with beyond the graveyard and recruiting Sanae. Did you already have four characters in your party when you tried to recruit her?

Hi there. I've r ead through the thread and I just wanted to tell you that I think you're game sounds great. I've always wanted a Harvest Moon-esque Touhou game.  I'm DLing it right now. I'll tell you if I find anymore bugs or if I have a suggestion. <3
Also, please don't give up on this project. It sounds like you've put a lot of work in it and it looks very nice. I'd hate it if Gensokyo Everyday's story went unfinished. >w<
Btw, is Wonderful still working with you? And have you done anything else with the game?

First of all thanks for the support. Secondly I don't think wonderful is with the project anymore although that could change. As for what I am doing now with the game I am working on updating the fight codes for higher level bosses to match the code I came up with for level 1-3 bosses. I also plan on having some more characters to recruit, after all It feels a bit silly to recruit Sakuya and Youmu when you are playing Marisa.

Also any non combat events that I can think of in the next 3 weeks will be added as well.

Yeah, I had 4 character's when I tried to recruit her

Also there is something wrong with Reisan's Phantom gun when I try to use it in succession with the others special, mostly Reimu's

Progress update
-I have changed Phantom gun so it won't be such a problem anymore.
-I have made considerable progress in the battle codes for enemies. I am almost done with all the level 4 and 5 bosses except for three level 5 bosses and the Prismriver sisters (they are a bit more complex to work with)
-I have started work on the recruitable characters. There will be seven new characters you can recruit in version 0.09

Also I was considering releasing the new version of the game around august 8th. However I think I will be delaying that for a couple of weeks to see what new additions to the Touhou canon will be made with the new game. After all the next update was billed as the strongest update and so passing up new info on Cirno would be a shame.

I think an Auto-battle option (where everybody just selects attack) should be nice for dealing with weaker enemies cause it's so long versing them.

Hi.

Currently playing and loving it. However, in the basement/dungeon where Sakuya can fight bats, there is a patch that I cannot get out of. I can wlak into it, I can walk back-and-forth, but not out of it.

EDIT: Please forget about it. My keyboard was being sucky.

BUG REPORT:
I walk into Eitentei as Marisa.

Marisa encounters Tewi and accepts her request.

Marisa goes into Eirin's room.

Eirin calls Marisa "Reisen".

I think it's a bug, unless Eirin has been taking some of her own drugs..

(Also, willing to do CGs if needed.)

1. No this game is not like Maple Story but then again I never played that game.
2.Eirin bug is fixed.
3. Of course I will accept CGs.
4. Instead of seven new characters to recruit version 0.09 will have 13.

Alright.

Contact me with instructions on what CGs to do, when you've decided what kind of CGs and where they should be. I could also draw facesets for the main characters.

My requests for graphics are
-Any pc 98 characters
-Tenshi, Hatate, Kasen
-Battle portraits for any character.

Basically anything would be fine, just do what you can and want to do.

Alright.

I am not a pixel artist, but I can draw battle portraits. I might tinker around with the spritesets, but I can't promise anything right now. Will get right to the battle images in the morning.

Anything in a .png format would be great. The only thing you have to do is make them better than the one's that exist now (which should be easy enough).
