Star Vault is up tomorrow, and yet again it's on the second rotation, which puts it cleanly after work for me. I'm very happy with this trend, I hope it's permanent.

Do keep in mind that when I talk about my Ra team, I use Ra/Kali for leads so my modifier before prongs is 60x, not 100x. That is considerably less damage, so sometimes an extra damage enhance can make a difference. Not often, granted, but 60x doesn't seem to be enough to cleanly one-shot absoluty everything all the time.

The horrifying implications of this conversation seem to be that I'm now obligated to skillmax a third Kali so I can swap her into a sub slot and run an Isis friend for dungeons with notable (non-daaaark) pre-emptive binds and/or huge pre-emptive attacks. And that means I need more Angelits. And I don't think I'm ready to do that now, if ever.

Edit: Of course, part of the reason I run my team at 60x like I do is because it's the best way to fill out the colors with the things I have without losing prongs and board changes, so obviously that's not set in stone once Isis comes out and I can use her as a friend lead. Still not sure I'm willing to give up 297 +eggs and a delay, but it's not like the friend Kali has to be there for any reason.

Soooooort of, yeah. I mean, obviously she literally works, but the colors are kind of awkward for me. I don't have any easy access to black or red, so it would have to be white/blue/green every turn, which isn't great. Especially since Gabriel changes away white. Tweaking the team for use with Isis is something to keep in mind, since she does provide a lot of extremely useful abilities for a Gabriel team, but I'm probably not going to use her the way my team is now. Which is too bad, because she really dumps on Threedia in Dragon Rush.

I could use Siegfried, but then I'm out white, and also I wouldn't dare slight Reine by cutting her for a low-rent version of herself. I've technically got a shitload of copies of Beast Rider too, I could theoretically cut Ruka for him since he doesn't actually lose me any colors with his activation. Or I could cut Sun Quan for Orochi since Isis already covers his colors, but the sheer stat cut I would take might be too much especially since I already have a low-recovery dragon weighing down my stats.

Actually yeah, Gabriel/Reine/Merlin/Sun Quan/Beyzul/Isis sounds kind of good on paper. It's not a team I would use often by any stretch, but it might be useful for clearing a small handful of dungeons that are hard or impossible for me otherwise. And by that I mean literally just dragon rush off the top of my head, but that's something. Are there any obvious holes in that setup that I'm overlooking?

Achievements of the day: Got both Endless Coridors Zeus and Golden Keeper to about 10% HP before they murdered me, which means Awoken Horus is good because I couldn't even get close to that with F/L rofl

Also can somebody with the power change my secondary leader to Athena? Now that I have rank 228 I can run athena on my athena team (shocking, I know) and I have been using her a lot more than GZL lately. Granted that this will likely change once Vishnu ult hits NA but that ain't gonna be for a while yet

PS: Confirmed that x2 rates are now permanent in NA server as well.

Sadly, I have to skip out on Star Vault today. And it's at a prime time for me too! But I've only got one stone to my name. For now, I'm just going to refine my farming team (read: work on ROdin skillups) so I can be more efficient and ready next time it comes around. Also meanwhile, work on evolving Astaroth to attacker mode, Sun Quan once and then again to B/G ult, and Ra once and then to Awoken Ra, which means I still need to finish evolving Sphinx and Sopdet.

It's gonna be a busy week.

EU seems to have gotten two exclusive features to their 8.0.1, with KR getting it down the line and supposedly NA as well:

I just ultimate evolved my Orochi to clear out some box space for Star Vault and realized that he seems like a solid Urd sub. I've been slowly putting together an Urd team for a while, and I think I might have it. How does Urd/Horus/Kagutsuchi/Orochi/Takeru/Urd sound?

I guess I'm not sure if it's worth finishing though. On paper Urd has my favorite leader skill of all of the Norns, but my Verdandi's team is done and she's rapidly approaching hypermax. Is there any reason to having both an Urd team and a Verdandi team? Will they play that differently?

Colors, mostly. Verdandi (atleast the variant I run) will suffer against bulky red cards. Urd will less so.

if you really want me to go there i will absolutely point out that A) awoken ra is generally overestimated on ease, if not power, and is honestly as a whole strong but not nearly as 'DE BEST' as people expect and many people are flat drunk off x100 multiplier oh my god and a lot of leaders, not even down the line, are easier, more flexible, and arguably in many ways stronger.

I have no plans to even uevo my ra as anything other than a school lucifer sub. There are flat more accessible, usable options without the majestic 'fuck you, i have a kali on every button, FIGHT ME YOU NERDS'.

B) awoken cat is a combo god.

did they change how ulting skillups work with the ult system changes?

like if I ult meimei now is there a chance of skill up or should I wait for them to change orbs

before there would be a chance since I remember I got skillups when ulting my mystic dragon even though his ult active is different from his prevo forms

To actually answer the question though, everything I've been seeing lately suggests that it does not work anymore. So just wait on the orbs to change.
