Why i had to burn 1 stone? Because Karin invaded in stage 2, and i had no way to recover enough hp to survive Gigas's preemptive. Basically she invaded in the ONLY stage which would have killed me  :trollface:

Funny thing is i'm the complete opposite, i'm rolling in the Xmas Rem exactly because i want the regular Chinese girls, and i'll never get better odds than 4x with the added bonus of getting something good either way.

bluh Thoth and Sopdet 1 stoned because I made a dumb mistake. Only did a 2 combo when I had a full board of hearts. Could of easily been a 0 stone.

Got my green orb on the second try today. Excellent. I like Thoth and Sopdet and I think it's one of the more fun and interesting dungeons in the game, but farming it is reeeally time-consuming. Back to weekend dungeon!

I was just tooling around with my Athena team (Athena/Valkyrie/Verche/Meimei/GZL/Athena) in True Endless Corridors. It's nowhere near max level and Valkyrie isn't even ultimate evolved yet, but I wanted to try it just to see how a two-prong team plays differently than a stall team or a 9x spike team. I'm not really sure when I'm supposed to use my actives yet, and how many matches of what types I should be making. Does anyone have any advice on how to properly conserve and spend orbs on a two-prong team, especially an Athena one? Or any other general tips? Playing a team that's very different from the one I'm used to is fun, but I don't have much prior knowledge about what I should be doing here.

Edit: I also don't know how to use Seven Star. What am I supposed to do with it, exactly? Just try to set up as  many two-prong activations as possible? A few two-prongs and a row? I think a few minutes ago was literally the first time I've ever used a full-screen orbchange that wasn't just a reset, so I don't know the principle behind it.

Athena has a green row and Meimei has a green one and a white one. I was thinking Valkyrie had a white one too, but I forgot that white Valkyrie gets orb enhances instead.

Is it ever worth using Seven Star to try to restock the board outside of one-shotting boss battles. I'm still not very good at managing orbs in this context, so I kept getting into situations where I had way too much red and blue on the screen. Would using Seven Star Formation and trying for just a few matches to leave the rest of the screen stocked for later be worth considering, or is it usually better just to spend a turn clearing away useless orbs? The Athena team does have great HP, if bad recovery, so I think I can afford to spend a turn cleaning up occasionally, but I don't know if I should expect to be able to sweep bosses with just my normal orbchangers or if I need Seven Star for them.

I generally only save 7star for one of two scenarios:

1) I know the boss will die when I use it.
2) The enemy(s) in front of me is about to run me over and the only possible way out is to use 7star.

In either case you're pretty much just trying to swing for maximum, world-wrecking damage. NEVER use it outside a bossfight unless you're in a rush-type area with multiple boss characters and you know you can recharge it before the end (Or just flat-out don't need it for the rest of the dungeon), as it will probably be a waste. Think of it as a bomb in Touhou without the invulnerability. It's that strong.

I advise you clean when you can, as running out of ammo is doom in a lot of situations.

Sometimes if you can risk a null turn, you can make some interesting setups like this (I managed this one time in an alt. dungeon and it was glorious)

If you have Verche and Valk, convert all the dark and all the hearts to light, then slide the green between the reds to the two greens above for maximum hilarity (and this is usually stronger than 7star!)

It appears that like other skills with sub-effects, you can activate it when either one of its effect's condition is satisfied, i.e. you can use Luficer's active when your HP is 1
Yes, 600k damage to finish bosses off instead of just 300k, and you'll have at least 6 heart orbs.
