Finally decided to get around to doing LoLK Extra, so I pulled out Reisen... first try was a total wash and I only got to the boss with a couple bombs, no lives, died on card two. :T Second try went a lot better (I've seen the boss get cleared so I knew what to expect and el o el Reisen shields, those cards are stilll a lot harder in practice than looking at a replay though...) and I find myself near the end of the survival card with no shields left, no lives, 4/5 life pieces... and I died at the last moment.
And earned my extra life on like the next frame and didn't game over holy crap. LoLK extra scrubby clear :D Emphasis on scrubby; I vomited multiple shields on every attack other than the first nonspell/spell and the yellow nonspells. Reisen is silly. (Looking at the replay, I died at between 0.4 and 0.2 seconds left in the card... man, I really was probably within frames of not having my extra life in time. XD)
I noticed, on those surprisingly non-simple fairies at the very end of the stage... their pattern is alternating left-spinning circle and right-spinning circle. If you move left with the left circle and right with the right circle, no vertical, you can easily stay far away from the bullets without having to do anything weird. Tap tap tap~
