Today was somewhat productive.

Captured Demon Binding Circle yesterday, Reimu's something something "Fader" today, got more consistent with Event Horizion and Double Spark. They used to be auto-bombs, and now they're something I'd have a decent chance of capturing if I end up reaching them with no bombs :3

I also grinded a few runs to capture Thousand Needle Mountain on lunatic. The attack it-self only took two attempts, very fun but Remi's easiest spellcard by a land-slide, even if I'm quite bad at it.
And, suprise suprise... I finished that practice run with 1 life and 3 bombs, as is normal :V
Speaking of, I also got a run of EoSD stage 6 Lunatic practice that finished with 2 lives and 1 bomb. Minor, but I'm very happy with it.
Now if only I could do that well in a real run :getdown:
(though I wish that more for stage 3 than anything else

)

EDIT:
I decided to do a random run of PCB stage 5 Lunatic after not doing it in ages.
And it went really well. No deaths, everything went as planned except the bomb to Youmu's Penultimate...
But more importantly, I captured Youmu's last spell again. Much calmer this time.
Don't you just love it when you find a spellcard hard one day and then easy the other? once you understand how to do it...

Perfect IN stage 4A normal, and more importantly...
No miss IN stage 4B Lunatic :3
Even if it was practice mode. And you get a bunch of extra bombs because of the lives you can get. I'm happy with that

Edit:
I captured Young Demon Lord on lunatic.
I mean, wow... I never expected to do that.
That run finished with 2 extra lives and 3 bombs, which is much better than my previous best of 2 lives and 1 bomb.

Hooray, made a bit of improvement on my IN PB. 5.24 billion makes this about 70m better than my old PB. Kind of a messy run though. Stage 2 was shoddy, normally reach Mystia with about 14k time points but this time I had 11.8k...Careless death on Mystia's penultimate spell meant I had more bombs for Keine's penultimate so recovered some time points there (but I still died at the end of that attack, I think Keine moved too far down). Deathbombed Event Horizon and Starlight Typhoon because I'm dumb, trapped myself about halfway through Reisen's last nonspell, putting me on 4 bombs for her final (ideal is 6 :<). I managed to turn it all into a new PB with a perfect stage 6 though. I think Rising World forgot that it's supposed to be difficult; the last phase was pretty much me staying still waiting to get slapped in the face by something but instead, nothing

My latest accomplishment is that I did the world's worst Marisa Bugged Normal 1CC in MOF.
Hey, atleast I have all stages up for practice, now. Next time, I'll 1cc it with either Marisa A or C. Something tells me I might use C.

I've been on the path of all-clearing UFO Hard. I 1cced with SanaeB back in February, and then again with MarisaA in May.

These two are pretty neat, and I've been improving my ReimuA 1ccs constantly. MarisaB really is rough, however...I think I'd be better off practicing UFO Lunatic. I already have the practice stages unlocked after a run-through with SanaeB.

I LNB'd B1 in GFW, which is maybe the hardest route for no bomb? Idk, I'll have to look at the C routes too. Would have been easier if I had any strats for stage 2 and 3

UFO!MarisaB is just...I dunno, she's just really annoying you use and get used to. If only she had a higher damage output...

She, along with DDC SakuyaB, IN Sakuya Solo and Alice Solo, and MoF ReimuC, is generally put among the top 5 worst shot-types in terms of clear difficulty.

She isn't just "annoying" or "bad" - she is NOTORIOUSLY horrible.

In MoF, MarisaA is much worse than ReimuC. MarisaC in SA is also much worse than UFO's MarisaB. MarisaB is only "notoriously horrible" because people who use her are bad. They're people who are simply used to far more powerful shots (because they want to 1cc with everyone, for example). It's true that she has her issues, but she's not completely inept like Sanae in TD, or the shots I just mentioned. Or the two IN shots you mentioned. Some shots in PoFV are also much worse (e.g Sakuya or Tei).

That said, none of these shots are in the top 5 hardest 1ccs, no matter how you spin it. PoDD is just monopolizing survival difficulty as far as Touhou is concerned.

I don't really care if you disregard my opinion because I'm better than you, but the argument that people don't care about pc-98 isn't really solid. They're still there and thus need to be included. If you want to exclude them because you personally don't care about them, then you have to mention that you only mean the windows games. But as I said, you're quite wrong with MarisaB in UFO anyway.

UFO MarisaB isn't a bad shot by any means. She's just aggravating for me to adjust to.

I can use TD!Sanae, MoF!MarisaA (to some extent), and SA!MarisaC quite fine, and they're all worse than UFO!MarisaB. Just something I have to get accustomed to.

Someday, I might use a character other than Marisa, but only after I've 1ccd all the main WIndows games with her -3-
Marisa fanboyism aside, I actually really look forward to trying out Sanae, Youmu (in 10D) and Reisen (in LLK, whenever that is released, assuming it isn't already).
If I ever decide to play the PC98 games seriously, I also look forward to trying out Yuuka and Mima! I really like both of them.
Anyway, onto actual achievements: I've been playing a bit of the Extra Stage in EOSD with my friend, nothing serious. I learned how to dodge most of Flandre's spells and now I know how to battle her until her second to last spell. Yes I do consider that an accomplishment.
