Japanese videos are cherry-picked best ones which show what teams are capable of in the right hands. If you asked me 'Can the heroic gods do burst?' I'd say hell yeah because hell yeah they've got great numbers on them. this is like me showing you the video of Luci 0-stoning Twinlits and being smug as shit actually (Though I love that video because it really does show what luci is capable of still despite gungho's shitting on him).

It was a very nice combo and a lot of orbs. When you get like 20k damage normally a lot of damage happens- and i was mostly looking at the plus'd up hero gods that did that.

Athena's a really easy stage honestly if you have monster's like that. The main problem is the gigas depriving you of time for skills which shots down some teams (Luci ;W;)

Eh. Damage seemed to come a lot more from the single color and high combo/high stats of a few mons actually.

this is really a huge benefit to non-egyptian burst that they can build numbers much easier because they don't need to spread the orbs out to create a combo. I definitely underestimated Heroic gods there a bit, and most other burst.

I don't know, I was still out on them before but I'm not sure quite yet. They're certainly looking a lot better than I expected though.

The main thing with Egypt burst though is because of how the damage works in pad, you dont get that much damage just by triggering their actives with a big combo, you need to get a lot of combos of the same color too. When you match orbs most things only add 25% damage to your attack: Each orb matched over 3 in a group adds 25% damage and Each off color combo you make also adds 25% damage. This means matching a row of 7 orbs adds the same amount as matching 1 on color triplet and 4 off color triplets: 200%.

So when dark meta/heroic gods simply match a giant cluster row of 10 orbs, they get as much damage as a big 8 combo with horus (both deal 275%). In order for egypts to do real damage they also have to match many of the same type orbs, on top of having to match varying orb types in order to activate their leader abilities in the first place.

but yeah that seems about right I guess? you deal with isis though so your view of 'consistent damage' is a bit skewed since it's really hard to screw isis, i've gotten board screwed a lot with horus in endless though so really the consistency scales with the boost imo

i guess i'm slightly seeing why super horusu became a thing (though i think he is still flat out broken)

yeah i tend to cut the later out of arguments often but the first is really huge in my opinion (though again, luci, i'm used to surviving things)

Uh...oveerkill much?  Sure if you're doing Descends etc. 100k is only "a lot" not "HOLY CRAP IT'S AMAZING" if I remember HP totals I've read right, but still.  10x Atk every turn for the rest of the battle along with whatever else you do is pretty outrageous.

I want one.  Even if it'd be probably like 50 cost or some crap, I want one for when I could afford it.

poison doesnt carry over when the monster dies and the cooldown is kinda longish

also the poison on his active makes it so that you can't hit a boss more than once (since you can't poison an enemy twice)

As for the whole Poision obsoleting Neptune thing, Neptune was never really in that great a spot and if you're deciding to use poision on something, I think I'd take Neptunes greater RCV over ROdins greater damage.

I dont have neptune so id love red odin, particularly since i cant even level my lilith since dark creature overload.  I dont really have many doods with "attacker" subtype either.
