yeah but not 3 million hp bosses

unless you have his active ability up, which takes 30 turns to charge

take 'em down 6 health at a time.

honestly, I'd probably leave and enter again with a proper team.

wow

i just realized what Balanced, Physical, Attacker, and Healer are

Physical = high hp, Attacker = high atk, Healer = high RCV, Balanced = balanced

i never realized before because the other types are more species related (god, dragon, devil)

also because of physical i mean really dont you mean tank or something

e: my orb matching ability becomes 0 when im about to die

i hate horus

make 3 matches
oh shit i need one more or ill die because stupid horus
fuck up the entire board
1 match
die

It's worth mentioning that Physical guys tend to have crap RCV, while attackers and healers have weak health. Idk what dragons are though. They seem pretty physical like to me.

King Shynee too good.

(Sadly, Ra teams do this all the time)

I am fast running out of places to shove red exp.

On the plus side NotReimu upgraded! On the downside her evolved form looks worse!

welp hera was pretty easy in comparison to goemon/hera-is, but i still lost one stone to venus because i underestimated her damage (she did more to me than hera >_>_

dat hp though man, i wanna try a goemon run through hera but i dont know if i can handle neptune

So I just started and I'm still scumming the tutorial for a good drop.

I got Sylph but I scummed again. Was that a good idea?

Also fuck I suck at this game how do you even do combos

Sylph is an awful starter imo.
http://www.puzzleanddragonsforum.com/showthread.php?tid=6337

That should put you on the right track. Though i disagree with certain things its mostly good enough. For example i think ranking ares higher than isis and persephone to be pure lunacy, ninjas are terrible starters, and while they are given 2/3 stars, id say gods like hades are so much better its not even funny. Green Odin would be a 10 star imo since he is practically a requirement for so many dungeons later on (though his high cost does make using him a pIn early i guess... Though having your own odin would make gettin dublits early sooo much easier).

I lost a few stones due to not paying attention. They take so long to die :(

Got orb trolled once in Hera too.

Goemon just didn't look very attractive to me... I just don't like hanging around near-death. one screw up and game over.
I think I'll skip trying hera. I just can't muster a party who can take on neptune and survive hades...That's not even counting Hera herself. I think I'll wait for my siren to finally have max skill.

edit: OMGOMG. TORTURE.
I completely forgot about edible's demon viper orochi, so I'm like *lightbulb*, which will allow me to survive hades at a WAY lower hp threshold than using an odin, which means I can bring a blob to nullify neptune's defense!

So I go back, assemble my hera-stomping *COUGH* team and...edible no longer shows up as a friend. FUCKKKK.. whyyy.

And this is why I'm probably not trying hera.

I have so many options and none of them good enough :V

i think as long as you have a dark resist, maxed sirens, and a good Odin ally it should be doable. with my team i never even got close to dying thanks to dual Sirens. Ghostring lead should work fine with enough rainbow keepers and maxed odins to keep your hp high. the only threshold you need to meet is over 8200 hp to survive Hades, which is easily met by two rainbow keepers + odin alone. with odin all of the bosses aside from venus and hera are trivial, and for venus and hera you can easily survive with one orb match every turn supported by dual sirens. the hardest part will be the stage itself.

seeeeeee i have one keeper, a ghost ring, a skill 4 siren and that's about it :v

« Reply #717 on: August 08, 2013, 03:37:48 AM »
echidna can easily sub for rainbow keeper if she and the sirens are lv 50ish so you have 700ghost+1000siren+1000siren+1000echi+3000RK+2000odin > 8200

but yeah the sirens are the most important part. even with one maxed siren you can easily get screwed over for orbs.

imma try with 0 sirens!.. (but a rank 1 skill drawn joker lawlawl). I'm not even using an odin either...I think hera is gonna rape my face but if I feel like I can kill her with only a few stones I'll try it... I just hope I don't spend stones killing her and her not dropping *shudder*.
