To be fair, ZUN clearly had never seen an erhu up close at that point, so the way he drew it was entirely wrong. Most importantly, an erhu's bow should be locked into the instrument by the strings, and cannot be taken out without dissembling the erhu first.
Horribly horrible translation of DDC's
package taglines:
Into the danmaku, raining down as they've always been...
Could it be, this time the outcome may turn the world upside down?
A PRETTY and DUALISTIC Shooting Fantasy!
Hmm, what stories involve the world being turned upside down?
Some lore-related thoughts on HM 1.20:
- For Kokoro's ability, I remembered the word I wanted to use... "Protean Empathy". Yes.
- However, they have forgotten to reveal the name of Mamizou's ability.
- If you create a new profile, you can see that they've switched all the default equipment sets around. Now "Joy" is Taoist, and "Sad" is Shinto, same as Kokoro's emotions. That's also why they switched the two religions' colors. The question is, why didn't they get it right from the beginning?
- Taoism should definitely correspond to "Joy" (for an example, see
this). For Buddhism, "Anger" and melee attacks, they must be emphasizing the imagery of righteously angry Buddhist gods and martial artists. Shinto-Sadness/Worry is the one left, or it could be because of mono-no-aware.
