Kilga, none of us want to cut someone off midconversation, but I think we need to exit this conversation as soon as possible. We don't have any ammunition, we haven't convinced the guy of anything, he doesn't have any information we want, and the more we talk to him the more his opinions will solidify.

So I can sympathize with people wanting to see this over and done with. As much as the Emperor is behaing in an almost suicidally stubborn way about this, though, I do have it on good authority that this conversation is not pointless. His most recent question has given me a new idea for what we might be able to do; I just need to see his response to what I expect we'll tell him.

>You know of it, it supposedly appeared atop youkai mountain. You weren't able to really see it when you visited there, given you just stayed around the foothills. Apparently some newcomer gods moved in there. As well, you know the oni used to live around there.
