>You head eastward, following the carpeted hallway as it narrows. Large framed paintings in a variety of styles adorn the walls, they would probably be very interesting to look at if there were time to do more than note their existence. The ceiling maintains its elaborate gold-lined paneling overhead, and the walls are periodically marked with support columns. Intricate scroll marks the floorboards and ceilingboards, but you have no time to investigate them, nor do you have much time to pay attention to the light sconces build into the columns. What you do notice, though, are a number of doors lining the hall every so many yards; beautifully crafted wooden doors with handle-style knobs, that likely open on hinges. Ahead, you can see the corridor widen into another room. Obvious exits are East, West, North 1, North 2, North 3, North 4, South 1, South 2, South 3, South 4
