Guess what, after a year of
this monstrosity being dead, I've decided to start a new one! Expect updates to be infrequent.
How this works1. You call an action. (with something like > preferably)
2. I go to random.org and roll a d20.
3. I reply with the result of that roll translated to how well your action went. 1 is worst, 20 is best.
4. I repeat these steps for every player in the game.
5. I repeat the previous few steps until I get bored/too tired/let it die for a year/etc.
StatsEveryone has an inventory, HP stat, and Attack stat.
Inventory is limitless. It's what you have.
HP is how much health you have. When you get to 0 or negative, A d3 is rolled to see how many turns you're out. You can call actions when dead.
HP is found by adding 3 d20 dice together.
Attack is how much damage you do. This number is multiplied by
roll result / 20, then subtracted from target HP. This stat has different effects depending on your action.
Attack is found by a d20 die.
BoostsA perfect d20 will reward you with a boost, in the form of anything that I want to give you. To use the boost, simply command that you use the boost, and it will be applied to your roll. A boost can be positive or negative, and can be applied to just about anything.
YOUR GOAL:Defeat 10 bosses, each of increasing difficulty.
These bosses use a d6 die every 3 turns after all players have rolled. Each next boss gets one more die to use per roll. So the 1st boss has 1, 2nd has 2, etc.
Receiving bonuses at 20+ also apply to bosses.
Boss HP is found by adding 5 d20s together.
Boss Attack is found by a d20 die.
