>"I'm honestly not the best person to explain how pokeballs work..." Dawn rubs the back of her head, "It's just that the technology allows them to be stored inside the balls, allowing trainers to call and return them at will."
>Dawn holds the ball out, closed, with the button aimed at Torterra, "And this is how you get them back in." she explains, "Torterra, return."
>A red beam shoots out of the button on the ball, enveloping the pokemon in a red light, which is then sucked back inside the ball.
>"It's a bit different when you're catching one, though. I can show you that after you get your starter if you want!"
