* The very opening note sounds...uhh, cut for some 50 milliseconds or something. Notice that one note's is shorter than the rest.
You hear things I don't even notice. I think this is the program's fault, and i should've put some kind of sound effect before that. i forgot to do so, before i released it.
* I hear Distortion!! x_x (or sounds that are above the digital volume of , thus sounds exceeding the limit gets cut off & is distorted)
The old-sounding piano in the end had some problems. The old effect caused some notes to be extremely loud compared to the rest. that can also be heard throughout the rest of the song at some points. im bad at mastering, mainly since im still more of an acoustic player.
* What methinks is a mistake/dischord:
[0:43] drums' retaining sound disappears awkwardly
[0:59, 1:06, 1:08] that one note of piano in each of these seconds doesn't sound harmonizing with the lead violin/strings
The drums there are as loud as the previous part's drums. There is just a short break which i made too loud. This causes a crescendo ending in an anticlimax.
Those unharmonic notes are still the continuation of the melody your heard in the intro. Blame Anunsew.
* [1:12] Good work with the change of pace & feel in the music. Me likes~ |3
I love this drum pack i downloaded. When i reached that point i realized i could not continue the entire song like that. So what I did: I took away all instruments, leaving only drums, piano, and a newly added bass there. and from that point and on it just got better and better.
* For the sake of getting more quality sounds, increase your mp3-encoding quality! (192kbps or higher sounds enough) ?S-seriously! T_T
Being only at 128kbps...awesome music doesn't deserve low-quality encodes! (I hope the reproduction of the music is as easy --more or less-- as one-click record, and nothing like there's live sound adjustments during recording/production or something)
i used to use 128 because thats what danmakufu can handle. though since im no longer making my music for that i could try using higher bitrates. but i dont really hear a difference...
now for something completely different:
I used a flanger-effect for the first piano you heard. you better try it out yourself, yo. and as always, there is another piano abusing reverb.
I still like your Victim of Hatake ~ Eternally Running over this one.
...Hnn? What about the stage 1 theme, you say? Th-that's my personal favorite!
Also, your Annual Festival of Turning Leaves ~<3
oh you do? yay! Rolling Apples was a great collaboration. It fits the mood
so well. I should collab again, some time.
...If you're curious, this post alone took me like 40mins to prepare at home including looping the music some 4 times, which I think will be 90mins or more when done in the compyshop ^_^;;... An additional, like, 10mins on on-the-spot editing, and some distractions >.<
