1- I need images of these characters to create a boss:  Gengetsu , Mugetsu , yuuka (pc-98 style) and elly. Maybe with CutIn images also.
Hmm, I'm afraid I can't help you there. The PC-98 games are so old that finding those sprites is going to be rather difficult. I have no idea where to start looking. The cut in images shouldn't be too hard to find though.

2- I need a list of codes for bullets and laser so i can try them and choose the bullet with the graphic i like. (ex: WHITE01, 02, 12 etc etc...) i could to it simply by typing in danmakufu but if i type White05 and it doesn't exist danmakufu freezes. So...a list of this codes will be usefull.

Now I have a couple of requests of my own:

You may have heard of or even played my WIP Touhou-Mario crossover game Kingdom of Mushrooms. If so, then you have probably noticed that my stage 2 and 3 backgrounds are just boring static images. Is anyone capable and willing to make a simple scrolling 3D background for those stages?

Stage 2 is just underwater, so anything that looks like it's underwater will be fine (it doesn't have to look like it's from the Mushroom Kingdom, for example). Stage 3 is supposed to be Yoshi's Island, so that one will probably be more tricky. Again, it doesn't have to look definitively like it's Yoshi's Island, just similar enough to be plausible. I really appreciate any help I can get!

I'm here to request a Bomb for my Reimu character, I'm not sure how to make the Fantasy seal of any games (And something tells me that doing it the same way the homing shot is made won't work at all).

So, I'm requesting Reimu's Bomb, Fantasy Seal. It doesn't really needs to mimic the bomb from the games, though.

Huh? Did you release a new version? The one I have only has Sakuya and Youmu as Playable Characters.

I have, my thread should have been updated with a new version, even if my youtube has not.

What exactly do you mean by this? For the images, you just need the rips (see Drake's projects).

If you're trying to adapt the menus into Danmakufu... :3

Depends on what kind of bomb you want. From the DS rips, you can get the camera photo, so I think it would definitely be possible, although I can't do it because I don't know enough about effect objects to make the flash of light (I don't know if that's a separate image)

ph3 or 0.12m? If it's ph3 you can use my camera from my Aya player and modify it for Hatate (deals damage already, but I'm unsure if its spell or bullet damage), or I can modify it for you so its more cleaned up and more like a bomb. If it's 0.12m it should still be relevant, as you can just change the function names to the 0.12m equivalent.

Menu text is stored in the form of images.

If you mean text like in the replay list, then the fonts are stored in ascii.anm. You would find the letter's vertices to find the section of the image you want to use.

Not sure about the others, but just don't look at CtC's menu and expect anything to make sense.

A basic menu is just a very simple logical flow. You have a "selected item", and when you press up or down the selection will increase or decrease according to respective menu items. If you hit OK when the selection is on X then you've activated the menu item X. You might be presented with maybe another menu or perhaps some code will execute, and if you hit Cancel you go back a menu. Drawing the menu is just a matter of being semi-knowledgeable about organizing your drawing, being able to make one menu item stand out when it's selected, and removing and adding new menu items when you change which menu you're on.

Anyway, I have music requests, if anyone is able to help me.

They are as follows:
1) Green Sanatorium remix (made to be less mysterious and more stage-ish).
2) Barrier of Ame-no-Torifune Shrine remix (faster, and boss battle-ish).

I realize that both original tracks are on the list of non-redistributable ZUN music tracks, and that is why I have the issue with using them.
I need them in .wav format because my computer can't run .mp3 files on Danmakufu yet.

Firstly, the statement was because of MotK's policy. As for your question, you need to create tasks for each menu and use object effects for each button/item. You also need to make functions for the menu select (up, dpwn, escape, etc.).

I just derived this from The Last Comer, and they have a LOT of ObjEffect_SetVertexXY, ObjEffect_Set Layer, ObjEffect_SetVertexUV, Common Data, ObjEffect_SetVertexColor, etc. Also, a LOT of arrays and about 600 variables for the menus alone.

I've attached the Difficulty Select Menu 3 below. If you can understand any of it, then you should be able to make a menu. But seriously, with your white space, lining up issues, and unfamiliarity with objects, I would tell you to master object effects before you even attempt to make a proper menu.

And yes, take a look at the Tutorial that was just posted.

Not to stomp on Won☆Life, but the tutorial doesn't really offer a good explanation of how menus are structured or why anything works, and only offers a very simple menu done in DrawLoop, using a method I honestly wouldn't encourage. I was going to link it but decided that explaining exactly how they're structured and what steps to take is more useful, and more than that, if you can't understand how to implement those steps, you probably aren't in a good position to start creating menus in the first place.

That's not the point here. The point is that if you're trying to learn how to make a menu, it simply isn't the best script to learn from.

Depends on what you mean.

SetInitialBombCount(#) will restock bombs. If you want to restore all bombs after a certain amount of time, have a counter global that goes up, and when it hits x value, bombs restock. If you want to put this in a task, begin running it in Initialize. However, if deathbombing messes this up or something, youll have to incorporate check code into your Missed Loop.

P.S. I learned this when one of my player scripts was magically restocking bombs after death bombing, and I almost beat Phantasm Romance this way. I think I managed to pull off about 20 death bombs in that one run.

Hello, newbie danmakufu game maker here. I don't have a question with programming (yet, plus it would be the wrong thread anyway), but I do have a couple important requests.

But first, what I have so far. I have the story and dialogue all fleshed out, all original characters conceptualized, all playable characters and abilities selected, an assistant programmer, a music maker, and Danmakufu itself so I can test my creations.

Now for what I need. I need art and sprites. Neither of which I can accomplish due to lack of talent/expertise in these fields. That's where my requests come in.

Request #1: I need an artist to draw character portraits and backgrounds. I would myself, but it would take me hours and lots of frustration for just one portrait, neither of which I will tolerate. I know drawings can take a while, but I literally almost can't draw. However, if you can do one but not the other, that's fine.

Request #2: I need a spriter to make said characters into usable pictures (you know what I mean). Some will be easier and can already be done, but others will have to wait until I get the character portrait.

If anyone is interested, I would appreciate a PM, and some examples of previous works to see your amount of skill. Nothing against you or your work, I just want to know the quality of the work I will be receiving if I were to choose you. Thanks in advance!

(And don't worry, you will be credited where it is due.)

Okay, I don't really know about acceleration with object bullets, so can some one make the objects bullets in this script to slow down turn around and then speed up. Like throwing the bullets in air.
