Its incredibly random... sometimes I'll lose 3 lives against Hard Mode Shiki, lasting up to six freaking minutes per round, and then use a continue to get revenge. This sets the win/loss meter thing back to 0, and THIS TIME she dies in less then 1 minute. What.

PoFV is so inconsistent, its not even funny.

1cc'd Normal finally. However, she just wouldn't die. The AI cheats so much it isn't funny.
Shiki got a perfect on me in the first round since she had uber dodging skills and shat constant rapewalls at me.
Then in the next round, she just wouldn't lose her final life and I had to dodge some definitely-not-Normal-mode danmaku before she finally lost it.

Eh, just do the rest on Easy. Or I suppose I could put up my score.dat which has Extra unlocked but not cleared (because I suck~) if you want - I totally understand if not though because I purposely sought out fresh installs so I could unlock things myself. That one's just kind of a pain.

Fun fact: I've 1cc'd IN Hard and captured all Extra cards before unlocking the solo girls.

I had a crappy run of EoSD MarisaA normal trying to unlock Extra mode for her, but I got to Remi with like 0/4. I get to Red Magic with 0/3, and what happens? My right arrow key gets stuck in the game and Marisa shoots over to the right side of the map. I couldn't get it fixed, so I tried to time out the card instead, only to be met with a purple bullet out of the walls. LAMEEEE

Trying a Kana Anaberal 1cc in PoDD lunatic.

Kana's cutout BLOCKS YOUR OWN VIEW COMPLETELY

Also, her speed being JUST A TINY BITY SLOWER than Reimu's is leading to many stupid avoidable collisions while squeezing through everyone's lvl2 and 3s without looking.

And is the recording giving me slowdown or is Kana's charge speed also slightly slower than Reimu's despite the game giving both five stars?

ZUNstars should never be trusted. Half the time they aren't even close to being accurate in PoFV.

So wait a sec, how DO you see 12 endings?

On the other hand... 2 UFO failed 1cc runs, everything that can go wrong went wrong, including, but not limited to:

- Died as bullets dissolve before Murasa's first card.
- Crashed into a bullet in Stage 6.
- Accidently tapped bomb in the beginning of Sinker Ghost
- ~~Desu~~ Kogasa makes me waste a bomb both times on parasol star.
- Clip Death in Purple Mist
- Died right at the time LAST enemy yin-yang orb spawned in the END of Stage 5.
- Too many UFOs changed color as I am about to get them.
- Died 2 times to Shou leaving me with 1.00 Power.

FUCK THE UFO POWER SYSTEM.

Each character has their own ending. As you see more endings, you unlock more characters. The wiki can tell you the details.

Sigh I was playing so brilliantly, more or less flawlessly. Then I went to dinner. Then I came back and played like shit. For some reason, Youmu seemed about 20x more difficult after going to dinner. I couldn't redirect her attack, I died about 50 million times on her time slowing ones... W T F

I lost 2 lives to spleen eater and still 1cc the game if it makes you feel any better. :V

That being said, I almost 1cced PoFV with Cirno, all the way up to Shiki in a blind run, if I actually knew how Yuka worked I wouldn't have that silly death that cost me a life.

Goes to show you how strong she actually is, PAD and Sex appeal rabbit can go take a hike.

Well, it's official: Pandemonium is so hard I can't beat stage 7 in practice mode because of it.

Also it seems I'm using Yukari to do this by default. I have two requirements for a character I use in IaMP:

Doesn't fight Remilia
Doesn't fight Yukari

Yukari doesn't fight Yukari, oddly enough, and she fights Remilia on stage 1, which gives minimal heartbreak upon defeat. Now if only I could learn how to effectively use her...

Yukari's not so bad, but Remilia is absolute hell if you don't fight her ASAP. I've got a lunatic 1cc with Patchouli uploaded on YouTube if you care to take a look at it (Patch doesn't fight Remi, by the way).

... Fifty-nine bombs. This was all thanks to parents. Pricks pulled an Unplug Sign on my comp which effectively eliminated all my hard work up to Youmu's last spell, and my almost perfect first run (had to retry from the beginning, and TWO Lunatic runs in a row is NOT fun).

Stage 1 I can perfect
Stage 2 I can one-bomb, maybe two [One for survival during stage, one for Water-Repelling Bone Dry Monster. Fuck trying to cap that thing on Hard/Lunatic, it's worse than the Train, which I can do a lot, actually]
Stage 3 is just FISTS TO THE FACE EVERY FUCKING TIME

I... I really, really should be able to do this. Hell, I should be able to beat UFO Hard by now.

Bah. Failed my MS Lunatic 1cc at Devil's Recitation, as usual. If only I hadn't died twice on the stage section of Stage 4... I always, ALWAYS forget about the enemies that fly upwards from the left/right edges of the screen without warning. Also I, er, died at the pre-Yumeko bullet spam. <_<
