Sure, just make sure that we tagged along in the epilogue. It's gonna take more than just Mugetsu to run damage control with Gengetsu gets fired up enough.

You trail Mugetsu and Gengetsu as they go through Gensokyo. Gengetsu ends up getting in a couple of fights, one with Marisa, which she seems to lose, and one with Sanae, which ends in a tie. Gengetsu doesn't ruin anything like you were worried, and the pair go back to their realm.

This repeats every so often, until you don't need to make sure Gengetsu isn't going to go crazy and try and destroy Gensokyo. With that, your job goes back to normality, if a little less peaceful than before, guarding the gate alongside Malus...
