>"Gotcha."
>Give Neu another grateful nod, and an answering smirk to Chisato, then depart the ship in search of foods.
>Time-Jump to the morning.
>You nod appreciatively at Neu again, then flash Chisato a smirk of your own and make your way off the ship in search of something to eat.
>After all the trials of the day, you decide you're in no mood to cook your own supper, so you just drop in at the nearest restaurant you pass which smells good. You end up having honey pork and fried rice at a bustling joint not far from the harbourfront. The food itself is satisfying and reasonably priced, but you find yourself feeling antsy; something seems wrong about sitting here, doing nothing.
>You finish up your plate then take to the streets, wandering about aimlessly in the hope of working off some of your nervous tension. In this, you are only partially successful. The sky starts to dim while you walk and a cool dampness settles into the air; evidently time has continued passing while your mind was absent. As you look up at the clouding sky, you feel a leaden weariness seeping into your limbs. You're more worn out than you'd expected, perhaps more than you'd even noticed; as busy as you've been today, you're still not in peak form from your ordeal of a few days ago. Maybe you should just go home and rest. The moist air tickles the inside of your nose as you draw a deep breath - will it rain tonight, you wonder?
>Eventually, you abandon your wanderings and cross back to the part of town that you know best of all. Almost unconsciously, you find yourself back in front of your own door; elsewhere in the neighbourhood, you can hear a few voices engaged in cheerful conversation - some of them you even recognize. For a brief moment, you think back on your apprenticeship and all the eagerness with which you had anticipated what you've now become. It seems so much longer than a week ago. You pull the small key out of your pocket and slip it inside the lock.
>As you open your door, you notice a small folded note on the floor, just inside your room.
