MoF Lunatic No bombs 1cc is up. Awesome video with awesomely fail mistakes scattered around. It displays the performance of thoroughly understanding the patterns of a Touhou game but with loads of bugs in my performance. It's of course also outfitted with commentary about things. So you can probably learn something from it if you are an up n' coming Lunatic player.

Pulled off another UFO Extra Stage perfect run, which is pretty cool. Also had one of my best runs at UFO Stage 6 Lunatic in a while, two deaths total. I'm making some definite progress here.

You are welcome. My recommendations have always lead people to happier lives. If you could just remind me what exactly I recommended you to do then you would improve mine as well.

Unfortunately, you only mentioned that it'd be a relatively simple Last Word. No tips were given in the comment you posted last summer. D:

Edit: I gave IN's Extra another try and I made it to Mokou's survival card again. I also caught her first card for the first time in quite a while along the way.

Well... by saying that's it's simple I did say pretty much anything there is too say. Its not exactly gimmicky. Nicely done anyway.

I finally managed to figure out a strategy for Fantasy Heaven which works with all characters. It's harder with slow ones like Reimu and Yukari but it still works.
I can pretty much consistently capture this now~
edit: Yep, I captured it with all teams and solo characters.

Oh, I perfected the fight to Rorschach, which I double KOed after 3 bombs, died twice to Genetics (once with 2 bombs immediately after the first death), 1 bombed the second survival and got my first ever capture of Subterranean Rose.

I'm not sure who I'll try with next. I've tried the Scarlet Team but the stage requires so much memorization with them that I just gave up for a bit. I guess I could try with solo Yukari or something since I hate using the Magic Team.

Yeah you can really cheese the game by not playing it the way you're supposed to play it.

Tried a run out of curiosity, and while it's not as hard as I remember it being (probably something to do with it being a year since I last played it lol) it's still pretty hard. Got Yumemi down to half a hearth, 59 million no cheesing.

There're still a bit of stupid luck involved though, especially in the later levels. If the AI sends a boss when you just happen to have no bombs or charge you're pretty much fucked if they keep throwing their impossible to dodge attacks.
I once dodged everything for 5 minutes straight without getting hit and then died within 10 seconds.
It's not so much an issue with boss Chiyuri as your charge recharges so fast because of the tons of shit going on, but Yumemi especially.

Unilateral Contract is easy actually. Just go to the sides at the first wave and then head up a bit and doge the soon to come bullets. Figured that out earlier today.
