13 spell captures seems possible more IN extra now, possibly even an ND1B run (the bomb would be on the rings of death as a deathbomb probably...unless I dodge it)

I'm pretty sure the layouts in each wave of Rorschach are the same. Koishi's movements would shift things around a bit of course.

As for an actual accomplishment, the best I got right now is finding out how to freeze larger portions of the screen in GFW Route C Stage 1 (without resorting to bombs, mind you). Doesn't change the fact that stage is still annoying to play though.

You could ask that in the help thread. Regardless, and maybe it's going overboard, but hiding in the corner and letting your homing shots do the damage would possibly be easier.

Also, I successfully avoided the final phase of Mamizou's survival card in an actual run.  Didn't capture, and didn't clear, but that's still an accomplishment.

Fighting Eirin on Lunatic with Magic Team. I captured Apollo 13 and her last card which I can't be bothered to look up the spelling of.
Granted, these were both with the Malice cannon but I don't think it makes that much of a difference on Apollo 13; from what I remember you only have to survive 2 waves before capture. The other one, however, is made trivial because of how Malice destroys familiars.

Yay, UFO MarisaA extra clear.  That's 1 less on the way to all Windows extras cleared with all shot types.  missing (not including PoFV) are
SA: ReimuB, MarisaA,B,C
UFO: ReimuB, MarisaB, SanaeA
TD: Marisa, Sanae
SA MarisaA and UFO MarisaB are the 2 I'm worried about...
In the MarisaA clear I captured 3 spells only...pretty bad.  I could maybe have captured the survival but I bombed the last wave for safety.

Now I remember why I hated playing the C routes way back when. Well, now I can really say I don't have to play them again.

Finally got a Ten Desires normal 1CC with Youmu. Pretty mediocre achievement, but it's more that I actually had the freaking patience to complete it after one too many stupid deaths thanks to using a horrible character in a resource-starved game.

Alrighty then... As of today I have been playing Touhou for exactly one year. (Huzzah!) I think now I will actually take a break from these games. I've said that before but this time I actually mean it. :derp: I feel like I'm getting somewhat bored with them, and I don't want that to happen, so it seems like a good idea to stop for a bit. When I start playing again I'll probably go for a Chiyuri 1cc, or if that proves too difficult, some other random 90FPS stuff, but I'll see about it then, I guess.

Good. Have you played Ketsui? That's probably my favorite shmup overall. Brutally hard too. I hope you don't fall too much out of your play though. After all; a shmup players work is never done.

There's an english patch but only for the interface though. There is a translation team working on it but I don't think they released anything yet.

I was aware of that, and yeah, it's only the interface. I figure I may as well just learn the language so I don't have to fool around with translations ever again. At the rate that "team" is going I think I can just learn it faster than they're translating it anyway. :derp:

And yes I did play Ketsui, though I haven't 1cced the first loop yet or anything.

I made it past Reisen on Imperishable Night's Hard Mode, then I proceeded to finish the game after using a continue at the beginning of Stage 6A and during Esoterica "Astronomical Entombing". I don't care if a 3cc may not seem like much. I'm happy. I mainly did this so I could unlock Curse of the Heavens "Apollo 13" -Hard- in Spell Practice anyway.  :derp:

MoF Lunatic No-bombs 1cc! 

This 'try once every day practice' really seemed to help. I was able to shave a few really dumb deaths off so I cleared. I still made a lot of dumb mistakes but I'm still pretty proud of it. I'd say that next up is SA but I'm a little too inconsistent at Stage 5 for my own good. I think I will juggle back and forth between IN No-bombs and SA No-bombs.

Oh and for what it's worth, MoF was harder to do no-bombs than Ketsui no-bombs 1-ALL was. And I was obviously raped by a red haze of unavoidable-without-planning bullets... but we shall not whine about that here.
