God, almost every Extra Boss has at least one card that all of the players argue over it being trivial or a pain in the ass.

Cranberry Trap can go fuck itself, Maze of Love is an ungodly pile of fuckery. I have played it what feels like ten damn times and I still don't fucking get it.

I have now cleaed EoSD extra with all shot types-did ReimuA (3 deaths, 8 bombs, 7 captures) and saw I didn't do it with MarisaB. So I did, with 3 deaths, 6 bombs, 7 captures. Main difference is ReimuA death+bomb+bomb to Cranberry Trap.

My only clear of EoSD extra with Reimu B in which i spent all 4 lives included Cranberry Trap capture and surviving MoL with only 2 bombs

Cleared Marine Benefit extra with Reimu A. :dragonforce: Must say once again this gaem is fucking awesome! The only thing is it slows horribly if i try to record a video on my computer :fail:

I managed to microstream the SA Lunatic opener fairies again, but with Marisa and from the bottom of the screen, it felt easier than no vertical with Reimu.

And I did again no vert with Reimu but on ultra this time. Maybe the bullets were faster but I didn't really notice a difference.

Watching the replay from the ultra mode try made it obvious that ultra makes no difference in terms of bullet speed at least. I think it might be impossible with Marisa no vert, you can sort of squeeze between some waves, but depending on the angle you get killed anyway occasionally.

It's like I get the farthest when I'm not focused at all, because I like spaced out and then died and then realized I was at ten seconds.

And then, after like thirty more tries, again. This time, though, I died because I actually noticed the beeping.

It does actually make a difference. Not a big one but a difference it does. Like how diagonal movements are a bit slower and how you can get yourself into more favorable positioning through some fancy maneuvering.

Happy Chinese New Year guys!

Played a game of PCB Lunatic to prepare for a Hard mode 1cc.

I beat the game continuing just once! (On default lives!) Got to Components of Konpaku without continuing too! My gosh there were so many close moments in that run, I was down to my last life and no bombs at Alice midboss and down to 0 lives 2 bombs at the Prismrivers. The final part was really close to, dodging about 3 or 4 red waves of Resurrection Butterfly with no lives and no bombs while trying to get enough point items for a final extend. And I captured Lost Soul's Village. Now if only you could save replays for runs with continues.

Hard 1cc here I come!

This. Vertical movements gets you out of plenty of sticky situations.

Anyway, I know it's been done before, but it's just really fun. :V

And finally, after 9 months of Touhou, getting 1ccs on Normal for Touhous 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13 and completing 5 extra stages and 1 Phantasm stage.

My first 1cc of Hard goes to PCB!

The run was a lot more comfortable than my Lunatic 2cc, though nevertheless was a good run. Ended with 1 life, though it could have easily been 3 or 4 more had I not had stupid deaths on Alice and decided to screw it on Resurrection Butterfly. Comes with a capture of Sumizome Perfect Blossom too

Yeah, not as bad as a spell with lots of diagonal stuff, but yeah. Openings that are open at one elevation can close at another. Peppy Hare understands this concept.

Mt. Ooe Lunatic 90 FPS Timeout. I knew that if I kept at it, those 1-miss and 2-miss attempts would turn into a 0-miss one. And I was right. This was quite a fun challenge. Next time, I will dare myself into late-game territory and see what kind of 90FPS goodness/horrors awaits.
