Congratulations. You did surprisingly fast.
Inspired by you, I have tried making the game run at 90FPS too and I'm surprised to see that it runs smoothly. I mean, there are a few framerate drops when I play the game normally so I figured it wouldn't have a chance of running at 90FPS but it seems to work just fine. I know nothing about computers.

Okay, so while I'm not too hot on the idea of going for a 1cc since that's gonna turn into an inevitable bomb spam, I'll just play some 90FPS for fun. Because, its actually more fun that I had imagined.

On a random playthrough of UFO stage 5, I perfected Shou up until Vajra. Not bad, considering I've been getting pretty out of practice.

Got to Komachi on Normal PoFV with all 5 starting characters.

Then I got annoyed with Komachi's EX attack, and her habit of pulling out near constant Lv 4 attacks,and decided to do Lunatic with Reimu for the lols.

I got to Aya, who then proceeded to demolish me.

Which begs the question: Should I stop bothering with Normal and go right for Lunatic?

I've always been a huge fan of the card (Yuugi was a pretty big part of my transition from low-level player to Lunatic level and Ooe was part of the reason.

) so it felt good to capture it at 90FPS. I have tried a few stabs at it but I keep somehow thinking that I can position myself between bubbles at 90FPS like I can at 60FPS. Its usually with questionable results.

I'll try getting it tomorrow. There's gonna be this 1 hour 30 minutes gap between lessons that is perfectly suitable for trying stuff like this... and show off like crazy to your friends.

However, i can tell you this much. A mutual quality of my Normal 1cc and Lunatic 1cc of the game is that I've been getting my ass kicked by Komachi and Shikieiki.

This almost completely.  I've noticed that the bosses survive longer on higher difficulties too, and there's more popcorn spam, and Lily shows up less (maybe due to Lv. 4 spam) and scoring is higher.
Also if you do go for lunatic I'd suggest Marisa because a friend of mine who spammed attempts with Komachi and Reisen cleared it in 4 tries with Marisa-and I got it in 4 tries with Marisa as well after failing about that many times with Reimu.
Of course if you just want a 1cc you can't beat using Aya (except you have to fight Medicine....ugh....)

Considering she charged for a Lv 4 spell right afterwards dosen't help the case.

Happened to me as well with my recent accomplishment. And in response to your need for a challenge, I say do just that, SA Lunatic 90fps.


@Allosawyou: You can easily unlock all characters just by playing easy with continues, except for

who require you to do a bunch of stuff. And yes, Aya and Medicine, particularly Aya, just turn the AI into an idiot. Use Aya and it's almost like you can't lose. Marisa and Reimu are probably the best of those few that you have though.
As for Medicine escaping by making danmaku vanish, you know that blowing things up clears away the nearby bullets right?

1-miss timeout of Mt. Ooe 90 FPS. Almost have it. I gotta say, this card... it's wild. I've also got a bunch of 2-miss timeouts but also a bunch of attempts where I just got pummeled to a bleeding pulp. Sometimes it just shows evil waves at you that are simply too fast and complex for me to read fast enough.

Four more 1-miss timeouts. I like how the majority of my failures are more due to lack of precision rather than lack of reaction time. And since my control of 90FPS Reimu is starting to get better, I think I'll have this timeout real soon!

EDIT: Add three more to that. One of them ending at 4 seconds left. Which is what, 2.5 in real time?

Try some ultra patched lunatics. I heard the one for Ten Desires 1.00c is pretty nuts. Also MB is pretty awesome, i must say. Trying now extra with Reimu and failing a lot.

My little accomplishment on the way to 1CC TD Lunatic. Finally made stage 4 in practice without deaths, capturing 3 of 4 spells (Tongling Yoshika is just too hard for me). As if i could do this consistently during the actual run :fail: I still enter stage 4 either with no bombs or not full power.

This one is enough of an accomplishment. UFO Extra 1-death run. As far as I can tell, it's the first time since my perfect run of the whole stage where I've captured every card. What sticks out more though is that I'm feeling more like my older self again. I'm much more comfortable when dodging the random attacks, and I'm doing it in ways familiar to me.

Just did SA at 60fps and perfected the first three stages in a row. I guess I'll have to learn a way to do stages 4 and 5 that is not bomb-dependent. I feel kind of invincible at 60fps now.

Managed to 2CC PoFV

Komachi decided to be a pain, and after a very tight fight, literally FLOODED the screen with EX attacks. As in, there was no room. At all.

I actually almost perfected Shiki when I beat her. Amazing how much of the stupid amounts of stuff that gets shot at you on that stage can be avoided by Streaming and spamming Lv 2 spells when you need to restream.

My plan now is to try and unlock characters so I can 1CC with someone more broken. Like Aya. Dear lord, Aya, why are you so broken <_<

Aya is broken because of how the AI dodges-it will only dodge bullet that are a few frames from hitting it.  Aya's EX attacks are fast as hell-easy to avoid for ahuman player, but the AI doesn't 'react' fast enough.  The same principle applies to Shikieiki's laser in her Level 4 (too wide) and Medicine's clouds (lower movement speed means not enough time after 'reacting')

I have now cleaed EoSD extra with all shot types-did ReimuA (3 deaths, 8 bombs, 7 captures) and saw I didn't do it with MarisaB.  So I did, with 3 deaths, 6 bombs, 7 captures.  Main difference is ReimuA death+bomb+bomb to Cranberry Trap.
God I hate Cranberry Trap.

Also pair of Maze of Love captures because it's trivial.
