Uh, is there anything we want to be doing in the meantime? I'm drawing a complete blank.

Okay... this is going to sound damn right crazy. But this is probably going to be a very, VERY high risk move.

When we stabbed the vines with the Ayakashi Knife, the vines died.
We can't get out any other way; our gaps won't work and Youmu has said there is no exit.
The Ayakashi, from the looks of things, is in the same state as we left it.

There is a possibility that the Ayakashi is the reason we can't leave...
I have a feeling, some how, that the Ayakashi is linked to our only exit out of here.

There are a highly limited amount of paths we have to get out of here and actually progress this quest WITHOUT bad ending.
But right now, the only things I can see us doing is related to the Ayakashi... and one of the scenes...

Involves stabbing the Ayakashi with the knife.

Like I said, it sounds damn right crazy. So I'm checking with you all before we do something that, without a doubt, is a very risky move.
Unless anyone else can think of any other way to get out of here... That doesn't involve killing Yuyuko or Youmu.

OPINIONS PLEASE!

Hello Heart-kun.
Well, seems like we'll just have to stab that. Question though: Does anyone else have a feeling killing the Saigyou Ayakashi might kill Yuyuko?

That is a fair point; but having just cut her from the tree in the first place, I sort of thought she would have died already.

The real question we want to be asking, with the vines about to come charging at us, is how are we going to do this? Simply put, I don't think Yukari is that fit. I mean, can you see her diving around, never-mind running, without the use of her gaps? If anything, she could probably side-step the vines and bring the knife down, which would kill those vines and buy us a little time. But that's only going to work so many times.

Whatever happens, we need to think about this carefully. One wrong move could get us killed by a tree that is already p*ssed we cut Yuyuko from it.

IIRC we do, but a tree that is immune to danmaku is -probably- immune to gunfire too. Aat least, that's how DBZ logic works.

Shouldn't we have said something to Youmu before doing this...?

Should have. Could of been the distraction while she goes in for the kill with that speed of her's.

Is it too late to go back and get her?

If we do get Youmu, we need to go all out right-away, otherwise we risk her getting captured by the tree. We know how much the last time affected her.
I'm not entirely sure the tree will attack us, judging by the reaction the vines that were stuck inside Yuyuko showed to the knife.

Let's see first if we need Youmu, or if we can do it alone. If we can, I'd say it's better we do it that way.
