>You start picking your way westward. There are more bookcases standing in that direction. There are a few ways to could approach; going along the outer perimeter and working your way inward, heading inward then working your way across. You could try flight, but the dangers have been listed. Perhaps there are other ways?

>Is there any particular pattern to the smoke sources?

>You make your way inward. A large fallen shelf and a pile of fallen books soon looms ahead. It would be difficult to climb over. Left and Right; or east and west seem clear, at least immediately.
>There's definitely smoke coming from the center of the library. Other plumes seem to be smaller and a bit more spotty. Are they fires? Grimoires doing something unpleasant? You don't know.

>West
>Does the smoke seem to be fading at all, or is it getting worse?

>Hard to tell, you've only been here a few moments. It's not noticeably better or worse, though.
>You head westward, following the remaining shelves as they lead you toward the western side of the library. There are a lot of fallen books, and one of the shelves has fallen into a neighboring row. You note a particular grimoire near an interest sort of flopping on the ground like a fish, or perhaps an agitated grasshopper. Near it is an intersection, allowing you access further inward, or further westward. Ahead, you can see some of the shelves are fallen over, or fallen and leaning on each other. Further inward, there are many books on the ground.

I'm not sure we should be warning Keine of our approach, honestly.

It's probably the cause of the explosion, or at least one of them.

Shouldn't we worry first about finding Keine before trying to fix the source of the explosion?

Unless you think that Keine was directly responsible for the explosion and did so deliberately, which I have a hard time believing.

Not really, it's because leaving such an odd book just lying there might haunt us in the future, i know Keine is in need of aid, but we mustn't proceed carelessly, else we might end up like her too.
