>"One of the things Eirin asked for is a sample of mermaid blood, and apparently she's the only mermaid in Gensokyo."
>"Ah." Sakuya replies.
>"So, exactly how do you plan to get a sample of her blood?" asks Remilia.

>"Well, unless you had a way to be breathe and be agile underwater, or have access to a giant fishing net, you could try freezing the lake from the bottom-up, and force her to the surface." Remilia began.
>"Mistress! You can't possibly be considering-" Sakuya interrupts.
>"I'm afraid it's the most accessible option they have at the moment, Sakuya." Remilia responds, "Besides, Mokou's fire abilities should make convincing that idiot to help them much easier."
>Remilia addresses you again, "Anyway, there's a fairy that lives nearby who's capable of freezing the lake in the manner I described. The only problem is that she's a complete moron..."

>"You could try to catch one of those exceedingly rare moments where she surfaces voluntarily, but that could take quite a long time." Remilia replies, "Your best option is to either catch her, or to somehow force her to the surface."

>"Could you tell me more about this 'Yuuka'?"
>"She's a very powerful, plant-loving youkai who lives in a smaller mansion located in the middle of a massive sunflower field known as the Garden of the Sun." says Remilia, "Unfortunately, she also has a rather... peculiar personality that makes her seem a little creepy, or even sadistic. I also heard she doesn't take kindly to trespassers in her garden. If you want to talk to her about your plant problems, you can find the Garden of the Sun about an hour's flight northeast of here, but don't say I didn't warn you..."

>You begin to turn around and leave, but upon realizing this critical detail you stop yourself.

>Bargain with Remilia. Something along the lines of:
>"Hey, have you ever tried Ningyo blood? I'll get you some, in exchange for some vials."
>"No." answers Remilia, "And I wouldn't be interested in any. Youkai blood can have unpredictable effects on a vampire such as myself. Now, if it were human blood, that would be another story, but I already have plenty of that lying around... However, I'm pretty sure Patchouli has some spare vials that she's willing to part with, and wouldn't Kaguya's doctor have some as well?"

>"Hey, why didn't you grab any vials or jars when we were in that storage room?" Kaguya asks halfway down the stairs, "There were plenty of empty ones that you could've, you know, grabbed so we didn't have to backtrack..."

Perhaps I should grab some while they're here, within a few feet of me, so I don't have to backtrack and annoy Kaguya later!'" Kaguya replies as the two of you reach the bottom of the stairs and begin walking in the direction of the library doors.

>You head to the left, in the direction that Kaguya pointed.

>then right
>You turn at the first right you come across.
>You are now walking between two of the massive bookshelves. Many thousands of books with various titles neatly line the shelves. So neatly however, that you immediately notice a few books up ahead that seem to have been put back on the shelves somewhat haphazardly. The gigantic bookshelves continue on for a quite a while and, unfortunately, you still don't see any signs of Patchouli or Koakuma.
