Hmm. Got an Earth Knight & Fighter on the adept Breakers dungeon, fused the Fighter to the Knight, now he's Lv.5. I'm unsure if Knights are a good choice.

Got about 4 -lits, 1 Eme and 3 Topal in the Friday Dungeon, fused them to my Earth Knight and Harpie Devil respectively. Didn't do shit for the Harpie though he's Lv.14 so that doesn't matter, the Knight is now Lv.6 yet I'm still unsure if to bring him out or not.

Edit: And of course Shrine of Sprites Expert has to kick my ass in a single swing, 10 match combo or otherwise.

I find knights really easy to level up because they're so common, the evolve materials are easy to get and increasing their skill level is trivialised because they're common. Defense reduction has its uses. They're decent fillers for the skill until you get something that seriously outclasses them in stats.

Ah, this is good to know. Maybe I'll try to grind the regular dungeons for Fighters to fuse him with until it outclasses my Monster Flower. Then I'll attempt to either fuse it or sell it if I am still not able to use it in fusions.

You don't need to actively grind. Just keep progressing generally and your rank ups will keep your stamina topped up all day. If you want to manage your stamina more effectively, keep in mind how long it takes for you to run a dungeon and how much exp you get. Go for a low level dungeon grind if you know you can spare the stamina so that you rank up on 0 stamina.

If you really want to grind your heart out, go to the Tower of Giants on the weekend when it's half stamina.  The "Dragons of the Tower" map gives enough exp that you can play it indefinitely without running out of stamina, leveling up all the while.

In other relations, I got a King Gold Dragon again on my PEM roll today, fused it with Yomi and now she's a Lv.19 monstrosity. Repeated the Friday Dungeon (and may do it again after posting this) again for fusion baits, hit the Mythlit so hard (with guest appearance by Chaore's shrine maiden) that I got an egg off of it containing itself. Surely that will give my Earth Knight the EXP starter pack it needs.

Edit: Yep, he's Lv.14 now. (because I fused it with two Emelits too)

Edit2: Shit, another Mythlit, x2 drop chance day otherwise? Today must be my day. I have a Magic Stone to spare too, so I'm pretty sure Yomi and my Earth Knight will be my main leaders by then.

The decision to make Odin, a Dark-killing machine, Plant element, baffles me to no end.

There's a Water odin as well that has a dark element attack.

Me too. :( There should be a separate option to at least purchase friend space using Magic Stones (even if it is a bit of a waste).

1. Check Edible's post not too far back in the thread for how to determine your times for the dragon hunts.
2. Feed dragons to your dudes.
3. ???
4. Profit.

Welp, that's why the music sounded so familiar. Composer of the OST is Kenji Ito, of SaGa fame.

Ah, are Spinons any good? I had just tried the present option and got one and I'm not sure if they are worth it or more worth fusing with Yomi.

It's the dark equivalent of the starter dragon.  As such, it is good!  Keep it, level it, use it.

On that note, I got an Ivory Dragon from a Rare Pull just a little bit ago. I now have five full teams!

-Team Tricolor: Earth Guardian, Big Flamie, Big Bubblie, Flame knight, Aqua Fighter
-Team Water: Plesiel, Blue Goblin, Sapphire Carbuncle, Water Pengdra, Aqua Fighter
-Team Dark: Loki, Gryps Rider, Black Fighter, Baddie (I should probably evolve this guy...), Blood Devil
-Team Grass: Earth Guardian, Goblin, Emerald Carbuncle, Big Woodsie, Ogre
-Team Light: Ivory Dragon, Gryps Rider, Topaz Carbuncle, Big Shinee, White Fighter

Good enough for now, I can't wait to finish the "second tier" dungeons and start leveling up everyone.

Hmmm...so it's a good idea to to feed mythlits? I was holding on to them because they're were rare evo-material.

Also, is fusion the only way to give xp. Using them in dungeons doesn't seem to do much.

Fusion is the only way to level monsters, yes.

And while mythlit are rare evo material, the actual use for them seems restricted to few non-rem monsters, and only for very later evolutions.

They give a good chunk of exp too. It's probably safe to feed them honestly- by the time you need them it'll definitely be friday again.

Hmm...are there any guidelines for when I should be able to handle any of the special dungeons, I just look for the most powerful friend I have and try to get them to carry me(my boss guy + 2 carbuncles + their boss guy.)

I tried using stamina cost as a guideline, but that lead to me getting oneshot by little demon things.

You should be able to safely run the weened dungeon on the lowest rank for gold. Just focus on normal dungeon progress and you'll have stronger mons from the drops as you go.
