How come even though I've played a ranked 5v5, there is no record of it on my profile front page? In my ranked stats it added one win to Sona but under the 5v5 elo shield thing it doesn't even say "W:1"

a: done with provisional games
b(for anyone looking at your profile): above 1250 elo

Hmm.. that's odd cause for ranked solo queue it still at least said W:1 for my first ranked win. Oh well I guess it just means I gotta play more games.

Alistar is amazing. I think he's starting to tie with Janna for favorite support. I feel like he's more forgiving when it come to making mistakes.

Getting more using to Ali and Taric, and damn are they pretty good. Taric is great for messing up the enemy carry in all sorts of ways while Ali can walk freely in teamfights and push people around while not giving a fuck because of that ult. Unfortunately I lost in the end because we had a base race where the enemy team had a carry + master yi so not much we coulda done there but oh well.

Still suck with Soraka because no hard CC :<

There was something around two and a half pages in the SA LoL thread about how Soraka is bad for the game and ways to fix her. Fascinating stuff!

(common suggestions: add a mana cost to Infuse, make Q actually worth using in lane, a lot of different ideas for W)

I forget the item build for that, though. I know it involves Madred's Bloodrazors, so you should immediately know its a joke build.

they should make her heal into shadow word (healing/damage over time on whoever) she s already a amalgam of several dota characters just minus that mana cost on infuse/chakra

Actually I kinda want to do something like that after thinking about MRES mechanics last night (due to talking to someone about how Morgana should probably build Abyssal Scepter instead of Void Staff, at least around her level)

Get Malady to combo with Starcall for absurd MRES shredding by using auto-attacks between Starfalls, then take advantage of it with either a highly AP build (Abyssal Scepter, Rod of Ages, Rabaddon's, Lich Bane, ___ boots) or an ASPD-with-magic-damage-side-effects build (Ionic Spark, Wit's End, Madred's Bloodrazor, something to help her durability [either Trinity Force or something offering Armor+MRES like Guardian Angel], boots).

It could maybe work? Silly as fuck of a build but hey~

sometimes, support hero's suck so much that forcing them into new functions might actually unlock their inner potential. Like Battle ezalor getting 2 divine rapiers. True potential unlocked.

Giving a little more thought to this, I can see the biggest issue being one of Soraka simply having difficulty sustaining the effects - anyone smart would gtfo before long and then the shredding effects would vanish.

also whoops, the completely on-hit build I suggested was a trainwreck in practice. Would have been better off building just Malady + Madred's and then focusing on tank items, I think; not nearly enough survival in there.

Yeah pretty much

Optimally you would turn into a monstrous buddy for your mage but this would be a very specialized kind of team to take full advantage.

EDIT: This just in from the frontlines of League Drama: RiotNasus left Riot last night. Despite claims to have left on good terms he was supposedly fired. this might be why.
