None of the above, truth was that games tend to go longer than I expected, and my schedule is rather tight. When I first picked up the game, games are finished in 15 minutes (because I kept feeding) or so, and I had this 'average time for a match' in mind whenever I start a match.

Short version, real-life stuff got in the way.

It was after I got more experienced that I realized I should never jump into a game unless I have at least an hour on hand, but then it was too late. :V

I think this is pretty much what you should reserve for any dota game you play once you're out of the noob games. Even with noobs, just reserve an hour because you'll never know.

Oh, and right, in my noob days, I selected all game modes so that I will have ''maximum efficiency'' when searching for games.

Now that I look back, I believe the people at Captains Mode must've thought I was a troll or something.

Can someone explain to me why being the group disable is a fucking terrible role to play? In none of the pub games I actually see someone think, "Hey, we already have two carries but no group disable, I should pick that."

I've more wins than losses but I still get shit tier matchmaking.

Disables suck. Everyone knows that. I've lost so many damn games because I got a disabler instead of a carry.
