The boss has 50 life, and it's ability says that if it has 9 or less life at the beginning of the turn, it gains +5 Life. So you basically have to deck it out to win. Next, it uses a hacked Darklore deck. It will throw out rare cards like no tomorrow, such as THREE Fatal Blows, Undertaker, Full Moon, and Witches.

I still can't beat the first boss. After seeing this, it just isn't worth my time. :persona:

i would have liked to have a chance at getting an artbook but not enough to participate in a "who can spam the GMs the fastest" contest with hundreds of ctrl+v experts

edit: i faced [SGT]krash in fair combat and lost, now i'm happy

166, i think my deck is screwed up for other reasons though - as mentioned i swapped out most of my maids for student gvt. followers, but i suspect i would have done much better to go with darklore

good plan there, except krash pulled a Reunion on me at some point, which could have been pretty nasty with a rites deck

maybe rites buffs usually exceed the size Reunion can steal though (but Sense of Belonging would work)

Delerium did this on me, too.
But this was at turn 1, I had 2 Blue Moons on the field. lol

Ahh... could someone explain to me Transformations? When do I get one? How many cards does my character have to eat up until she gets a transformation... and is it permanent?

Character cards can transform into a new form at 100 Favor or Like. What form they change to depend on the other stuff you give said character, increasing their stats such as SENSE, etc. Dominant stat will influence their form. Yes it is permanent, you need to craft a new base character card if you want the others.

Since "Overwhelm" is on highlight I assume the enemy cast that spell. Multiple times, apparently.
I usually think it's a pretty poor card, but maybe it would give you a ghost of a chance against a follower like that.
Of course, Forced Confinement would be better.
