Resuming the match: Horrible Argentina is Horrible. Germany Uber-pwnage.

Seriously, Germany lowed them down to the level of Australia with that score. And here I was getting excited over an early "final", given the history G and A have between them. I expected lots of fight, sweat and blood, but instead, Argentina had to screw it over and stain it with this match. Hooray for Germany and their well deserved victory! \o/

Also, rofl Messi. Not even once.
Klose is one away from the record. Nice for him.

Haha, and everyone around on the web was wishing for an all Latin-American semi-finals. Guys, we have a loooooong way to go before that.

I should also state that looking at the questionable defense Argentina had for the entire world cup, this was to be expected against a team like Germany.

Seriously, it's like Maradona made a team full of forwards and mid-fielders, but no natural defenders whatsoever. Maradona didn't even bother to call the Argentinian right denfender Zanetti, who helped Inter Milan win the previous Champions League.

Paraguay deserved to lose [even though I wanted them to win, they didn't seem to have any effort after the first half, and Spain started to dominate].

It's been a couple of days since I popped into here, but I have been keeping track of the cup. A few quick comments:

Kongaratulations to Holland for beating Brazil. I wanted Brazil to win the cup because they're the team my dad always falls behind (his side of the family is Brazilian), but we've known all along that their overall team was too weak to take the final victory. Still, I'm a little surprised that it was Holland, and not a bigger name, that knocked them out. Good show!

While I'm not a big fan of Germany, I'm pretty happy with how they showed Argentina who's boss. Oughta teach them to flap their gums next time!

Also, I got my green vuvuzela in the mail yesterday. Bzzzzzz~

That was a pretty nice match. Congratulations for Holland to make it to the finals.

I was more like name calling and cursing the referee for fucking not-finishing the game. He continued the game for 2 more minutes on the official stoppage time. That was not cool.

The entire game my parents and my brother in law kept saying: Holland might lose or this match is going to extra time. But I said: "nah, after 70th minute, Uruguay will go down." then the 3-1 happened but I wasn't still happy. The 3-2 being scored made me started chewing random objects.

Charisma was almost breaking =.=

Wow, it's been long since I stopped caring much for football, but this World Cup has turned much more interesting that I'd expected.
