OK I figure I owe these responses at least.
SAKURA SPIRI*shot*
Amra and I tried to play through this around Christmas time last year. It's actually extremely boring besides the obvious fanservice anime art! I don't think I could make an interesting LP for it.
Uuuh.... fault milestone one? Or... plantarain ~the reverie of a little planet~???
Planeterian is a game I dislike on its genre alone. I played through the first fifteen minutes and I'm relatively sure I could tell you how the whole thing ends just from that. It was edgy and angsty and I didn't want to play any further.
Fault Milestone One is actually the only one of these games I haven't played yet. I avoided it for a while because it's episodic and I hate episodic games about as much as I hate crowdfunding (WHERE'S THE OTHER 40% OF MY GAME, KENTUCKY ROUTE ZERO? WHERE IS IT?)
That said, it's on sale right now and it actually looks pretty good, so maybe I'll give it a whack.
If you thinking of future VNs, take a look at Sunrider.
The dialogue parts aren't amazing; I mostly like it for the great tactical gameplay.
But hey, it's a free space opera story that doesn't suck.
Sunrider did not impress me. The characters were flat, and I wasn't taken in by the gameplay at all. Not to mention the thing is about as well-optimised as the travelling salesman problem.
Thanks for the suggestions, and apologies for shooting down a lot of them! I'll upload the second half of Bermuda later today. Trust me when I say that if the first half of the game was relatively dull, this is where the game turns into something you'd expect from one of my LPs.
