//Ara... just when I was about to finish it~...
Daiyousei:
>"You're so meaaaan!"
> "Thank you for realizing the obvious. However, maybe I caused this situation... but I offered a solution, and it was your friend right there that didn't accepted such. Therefore, am I the only one to blameee~...?"
> His expression returns to a more
NORMAL one. He has just a smile that isn't bizarrely-impossible to wear.
> "If both of you break at these kind of circunstamces... then what kind of future you will have with me added to the mix...? Oh..."
> Kira closes his eyes and nods several times with a cheerful smile. His seemingly enjoying himself.
> "Yes, yes! I want to see the sequel of this already! I want to see what kind of tale both of you will weave! Ehehe~!"
> None of you really get what he's talking about...
> Once again, he returns to his usual self.
> "I will make a prediction, you two. I don't care how you take it, as I don't even know the results of it, but I will indeed make a prediction that will happen..."
Your lives will change forever.
> "There's no turning back now. As soon as you took those gloves, you sold your souls to the devil. Or, in this case, to another soul!"
> Really, why he's enjoying himself so much...?!
> "Ah, I can't wait!"
> And then... He's serious once again.
> "... ... ... Don't disappoint me."
> Giving his final departing words, the Evil Spirits melts into the darkness of the Magic Forest...
> ... Not that both of you know what the other thinks... but you seem to agree on something:
It seems they lost this 'battle' against the Evil Spirit.
They were legitimately intimidated by him, and as much as the pair hate to admit it, they weren't able to argue back in time.
Daiyousei and Daikoku were both standing dumbfounded at what happened. Time wasn't something for them right now. They were just lost in their thoughts.
...
As soon as Daiko recovers his own consciousness after thinking many, many ways on how to curse the Evil Spirit that was now their master, he calls for Daiyousei.
Daiyousei, on the other hand, was still thinking, looking at her glove. It was pretty obvious by now that she was upset, and sad at the same time. Her wavering shoulders just emphasized this very well, and her tears didn't went missing on the mix.
This only made him more upset. More than he had ever been, really. But he swallowed it. The Evil Spirit already left. Nothing will be rewarded...
It was to be expected, if it comes from him. She and her fairy friends went to a crazy adventure in other world all the day, and right at night, when she thought she was able to rest calmly, she finds herself in this tough and confusing situation for practically no reason!
Then, as to be expected from him, like the gentleman he is, Daiko accompanies Daiyousei back to the Misty Lake. Maybe, like that, she could find some comfort at knowing she had someone that not only understood very well her situation, but also was a friend.
...
None of them spoke when they reached the lake bathed by the moonlight.
None of them wanted.
None of them were in the mood.
None of them... looked to the other at the eyes.
And, being honest... none of them wanted to be with anyone right now. They probably wanted to externalize their frustrations alone... That, or because they didn't wanted each other to start some sort of discussion because of their appalling looks.
Daiyousei stopped crying by now, but Daikoku didn't wanted to verify how she was faring by gazing at her face. Both of them know that their own faces were full of bad emotions, and they didn't wanted to be saw directly by a friend like that.
Then, as if that silence was the departing line, Daiyousei slowly starts to fly back to her house, which was totally open for any unwanted guest to come and steal the little she had...
Daiko, turning on his heels in 180 degrees, starts to walk back to where his home is.
...
They stop.
They stopped at the same time. It wasn't because something unwanted was near and their senses where shouting out loud that a danger was near.
No.
They stopped because they just wanted to look at the full moon that was looking down upon them.
So beautiful... and pure... That was everything they wanted to see, at least for this moment...
And then, as if their bodies were mimicking each other in a mirror, Daiyousei and Daikoku look at the right and left respectively. Up to the moon.
...
Their real departing lines to themselves come as an almost inaudible whisper...
""Our lives just changed... but to what direction? ... ... ... Despite that... i wish you goodnight.""
The pair resume their ways, not looking back...
Their lives... just changed... but to what direction?
The answer will not remain buried for all eternity.
No.
That's something unforgivable.
They must find the answer. They must
This isn't a 'goodbye'.
It's just a 'see you soon'
Very well, then. 'See you soon'...
In Heavenly Cross.
