Ha ha! I just finished Normal with a greatmace wielding emberquakespamming engineer. I love how the endgame is handled, looks like co-op in this will be awesome.

Not sure if it's a bug or a feature. The Engineer's Charge Domination can trigger when stepping on a critter. I was just running around in an area I already cleared when my charge bar was suddenly full. The only visible blood was from a critter I just ran over.

Happened to me too, it's pretty awesome.

Playing a cannon engi with an outlander bro and we found that the spell Frost II deals 300-900 damage when given to the pet at approx level 18. Probably appropriate for rank IV or something. Bug? Ha ha, never mind, it's obviously intended. Also when investing in tremor I found that ~rank 6 makes it deal damage at 0 charge instead of when consuming charge.

So has anyone else had that 'summon set item merchant' scroll drop for them? I just used it and was a little disappointed he was only selling stuff I already had, beyond some unique bows I didn't need.

Discovered that you can skip fighting War Titan and just grab the boss chest and go home at your leisure  :V

As much as I hope that doesn't get patched, it probably will be.

I haven't even played far into Act 1 yet cause I keep restarting characters. Then Half Minute Hero came to Steam and now I'm playing that a lot. But I'll get to it sometime.

I guess if this is useful in a speedrun or something then they will just use the game version where it isn't patched anyway.

I think I'm done with this game for now.


It was pretty lol when I respawned during the Alchemist fight and tried to get back to the third boss area when a surprise fire grate activated and hit me for 5k damage.  Not going to comment much on the last boss, because that was a giant trainwreck compared to the first playthrough (it's always fun to have a boss camp the teleport exit with a lengthy duration AOE spell that instantly kills you when you teleport there).


If I play again, I'll probably pick a class with more mobility (or maybe just use a build that doesn't rely on melee attacks).


tl;dr version, NG+ elite is dumb with slow melee characters.

Finished up New game ++ on my engi and found one legendary weapon and some pretty cool high level uniques. Was also subjected to a pretty neat bug in the broken mines when using a portal, which allowed me to skip the whole level by putting me next to the downstairs.

Reached new game+ with an casual Embermage in 2 hours 49 minutes at level 22, with 85 deaths. Apparently you can hit the Netherlord with spells without entering the teleporter that takes you to the platform.
